Dobbs worked with the 1s today!

Wouldn't you like to at least know for sure? What have we got to lose? A redshirt?
This is what drives me insane here.........We do know! The very fact that he is not playing and is third on the depth chart is the freakin proof!

Why is that so hard to understand? I mean for f_cks sake, if CBJ and staff thought otherwise, he would be playing and at the very least be second behind Worley.

Do any of you actually think that CBJ would not play him if he were the answer? I can think of no viable reason that they would keep Dobbs out if he were the better QB. None. And if they are keeping him out knowing he is the better QB for some reason I would have to question CBJ's ability to coach this team.

It's not a hard concept. If you're saying the better QB sucks (Worley), then it's a pretty simple conclusion to come to.

Dobbs may end up being the better QB when he leaves. The whole point of my argument is that you can't say Dobbs sucks when he's a Sophomore with half a season under his belt. Let him continue to learn and grow, and if he can't crack the starting position next year, then he might just suck.

It's called Dobbs is a Sophomore. He has time to improve. It's like you guys don't understand that.

No we understand. We just don't think he has the potential to be anything above average. If that. Especially after he went to camps this past off season, underwhelmed the scouts there, lost his already poor accuracy and lost his 2nd string spot to Peterman.

But hey he can get better.....maybe

Do you not understand we're talking who should start the rest of the year? Some in this thread think Dobbs should start, regardless of if Worley is hurt or not.

Dobbs starting over a healthy Worley is freakin' stupid.

Butch did say he wants to win! To hell with the red shirt! Whatever it takes!!

No! This is a complete waste of a redshirt and a good QB. The offensive line sucks and it's not getting better just because you put Dobbs in. Let this disastrous season finish out the way it's been going and focus on next year.

This is bulls*** if this goes down.

If CBJ is burning redshirts to try and save this season then maybe he is dumber than we all thought.

So does Peterman. He's a redshirt sophomore.

And you saw Peterman's 3 series vs Georgia? Of course he could've theoretically gotten better..... his brief play vs Georgia dispels that notion. Was basically Florida 2013 2.0 imo.

Worleys started vs how many ranked SEC teams compared to Dobbs? Dobbs stunk up vs a very average Vandy team and beat UK. Worley's played vs a lot better teams then Dobbs

Worley has also played very poorly against some mediocre teams as well.

Whoever posted above about dressing a pig nailed it pretty well. Efforts to show significant differences between this bunch is pretty futile.

It was on 104.5 The Zone in August. I believe it was Jimmy Hyams or something...
Your sarcasm is probably justified though... we should just start Worley and be happy winning 1 maybe 2 more games with the likes of Malone, Howard, North, and Pearson being virtually non-factors. What a waste.

Yeah it worked out well last year.

It's hysterical. My ugly ass baby is purdier than yours. Here's his first interception footage.

If you can find average from one of those 2 its a step in a positive direction.

Gets himself sacked? Lol.....you do realize the Vols have given up the most sacks in the SEC right?......and the team with the second most given up has about half as many.....that's how bad the Oline is....what about this is so hard for some of you to understand?

Well, I understand that half of those sacks Worley has taken where because he 1) never paid attention to corner blitz 2) steps back3-4 yds more post snap out of the shotgun....where no OLineman can protect him. Is that hard your you to understand?

Obviously you missed the UGA game where his first series he went 3-3 and the Lane didn't take the ball when it was in his belly. Then we tried to do 5 and 7 step drop backs instead of doing what worked on the first series which was quick digs and slants. But I guess you turned the channel when Nate came in. That loss was on Bajakian more than anyone else.

Worley is a much better QB if Bajakian had a clue. Since he does not Dobbs may be a better choice - because he is faster (probably) he is more likely to survive the game (literally).
