Dobbs worked with the 1s today!

Sure, Dobbs was not an All-American last year, but do you think Worley would have gotten than long TD run vs UK last year? What about the long run vs Auburn. Oh and Dobbs completion percentage was higher even with North missing.

We got destroyed by Auburn so Dobbs' long run ended up being irrelevant. Worley would have easily beaten Kentucky and probably would have beaten Vandy. He sure as heck likely would have played better against VU and Mizzou.

Dobbs is a bust, as it sits right now. There is a reason that he is behind Peterman and it has nothing to do with his possible future time in the program. He's a smart guy, but from what I hear (from a former starting national championship player) his arm strength is lacking and he can't make some of the throws. They are working on it. Take it for what its worth, which I know won't be much for those of you that are pinning for him to play.

A freshmen that has played all of a handful of games is not a bust. That is pure nonsense. I seen many QB's in college look bad in their early years only to shine later on. A freshman that struggles is not a bust. If he is struggling or bench warming as a junior than you can say bust. Until then he is unproven but certainly no bust unless you expected him to be lights out right out of the gate. GO VOLS!!!

So you're holding judgement for Peterman then?

Why don't some of you get it?? This is the order and it is not changing!

Here it is:

1st Worley
2nd Peterman
3rd Dobbs

If Worley gets hurt?

1st Peterman
2nd Dobbs

If Peterman gets hurt?

1st Dobbs
2nd Uhhhhh Wegzyn I guess??

Then true freshman Devin Smith

Thats....Thats about it.

You're positive Worley would have veen the better option? No chance of regression like this year?

JFC I can't even.

But Peterman is a bust playing a handful of plays? In way more pressure situations than Dobbs has even seen?

This. Dobbs and Peterman have atleast 2 years left so to say we are gonna hold on, when another guy has just as much time left, is absurd.

Which guy "has just as much time"?....Peterman?...he already used his redshirt....quick aside...all of you that KNOW Dobbs isn't good enough or is inferior to Peterman? Why do you care if he has an extra year? I don't feel Peterman is adequate, but I see the value of having him as a backup...and if he finished up his last two years? All's good. You can't envision Dobbs as needed depth...very perplexing attitude. :blink:

This may be bad. People forget Worley beat SC and Dobbs got beat by Vandy.

He's since taken aerospace classes to correct the velocity, trajectory and delivery coordinates of the payload whilst simultaneously navigating around potentially damaging space clutter...aka DBs.

Make which throws? deep passes? We don't attempt those anyway.
Does having a strong arm have anything to do with consistently making decisions to throw into heavy coverage costing us game after game?(as a senior)
How does arm strength help a QB's decision making?

I find it intriguing how people can draw so many conclusions on a kid after not seeing him play for an entire year.

Okay. Cool.

Worleys started vs how many ranked SEC teams compared to Dobbs? Dobbs stunk up vs a very average Vandy team and beat UK. Worley's played vs a lot better teams then Dobbs

I think they both played three ranked SEC teams.
Worley=Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama
Dobbs=Alabama, Auburn, and Mizzou.
Correct me if I'm wrong cause that's off the top of my head.

If Worley goes is out, bama will just destroy the scapegoat replacing him. Endless blitzes and no offensive line. It won't be pretty. At least Worley takes his beatings gracefully.

Oh and you say Worley has played better teams, yet Dobbs started vs both championship game teams.

We will lose every game with peterman.... Bless his heart. Poor guy can't even get a clean snap.

Didn't you know Dobbs was supposed to win right out of the box or be forever labeled bust. Some of these folks would rather Worley play with 1 arm and leg than to try something else. It probably wouldn't change the outcome but it can't be any worse than the outcome of playing a hurt player. GO VOLS!!
