'15 FL QB/WR/DB (anything he wants) Torrance Gibson

This is a kid who puts his life on social media. It seems like he puts more out there about having a good time than putting in work. He hasn't gone to any QB camp that I know of, and he's been put at WR at all the camps that the services host. If he had the correct attitude, he would of found a way to throw with chuckie like our other two commits.

Those aren't good signs to me. You have to put in the work to be a QB at UT. Ferguson didn't and he's gone.

He tweeted twice in 6 days while he was visiting UT. Sounds like he was taking that visit pretty seriously. But what do I know?

Was he at the Gruden Camp? Sounds like he was here during it. If he didn't, that says all I need to know.

How many QB camps has he been to? Why didn't he make the Gruden Camp? I just haven't seen him put in the QB camp. He advertises everything, but he has not said one word about improving his passing.

So please explain how any of this is an indicator of what kind of QB he could be in college. Are you saying a QB has to go to big camps to be a good passer? So because he has said nothing about improving his passing, that means he isn't or hasn't already?

Also, Gibson skipping out on the Gruden camp says a lot about his willingness to put in work. Our other two QBs were at the camp, Gibson was not.

I want to see this kid playing WR like he is at the camps. I think Jones sees that also, or we would wait for TG's commitment.

Where or when did Jones ever say that or is that just your opinion ?

The kid puts everything else on Twitter. It'd be unlike his character if he didn't brag about the time he's putting in. You have to work incredibly hard to be a QB. It doesn't have to be big camps. He just has to do a few camps to improve himself.

Bringing politics into recruiting? I bet you're a blast in real life lol.

But seriously, he's more than entitled to his opinion but do you have a link or proof of Gibson's lack of "intensity and attitude"? That's the part I was responding to.

Please, enlighten me.

Want proof do you have to converse his opinion?Based on his unwillingness to come to Gruden's camp and him not wanting to throw during his visit to UT, what conclusion would a hard core fan cone to?

Maybe he doesn't own a car? Maybe his parents didn't have the money to send him up here so he had to hitch a ride when he could? Ever consider that?

I did say I think. I just don't see why Jones would take three QBs with guys like Olenga, St. Louis, Settle, or Tuttle on the board.

Olenga and St. Louis are backup plans. Idk what those guys have to do with anything. Theyll make room for Setlle or Tuttle. That's not even debatable.

His school would of helped him out or a friend if he wanted it bad enough. That's how I was able to camp at Boise St.

Locksley skipped a camp in Ohio to focus on preparing for his senior season. How do you know Gibson hasn't been doing the same thing? So your making assumptions based on a twitter account? My God man.

Ahhhhhh. He was at the campus when the coaches asked him to throw but he said he had a headache. Again I like the kid and I thing he has great talent but I think he is handling the recruiting process totally wrong.

With 11 EEs and tons of great players left for feburary, the coaches will have to make a sacrifice. Do you take away another player from a position of need, whom will be good or great, to take another QB?

So he didn't "want it bad enough" to come up Saturday but he came Sunday and stayed for 5 nights just because. Now he plans on coming back for the Big Orange Carpet weekend later this month but yeah, he's afraid to compete.

Locksley has been putting in the effort to help his team while Gibson was scouting snow bunnies and avoiding to throw while he was here. When a kid puts his life on Twitter, its not too far to assume.

It won't come down to Tuttle vs TG or Settle vs TG for a spot. Even thinking that CBJ would let that happen after the way he worked our numbers last year is ridiculous.

So you don't know that Gibson isn't improving his passing game. You should have just said that.

Unless you're going to tell Jackson, Griffin, Reid, or another commit to kick rocks, you're going to have great players competing for spots on NSD. We will have to tell somebody great like Barker, McGirt, Olenga, or someone else thanks but were full. It even happens to the great Alabubber.

We had so many schollys to fill last year, so we took everyone. This year were limited as half of our class is already on board.

This is easily the worst ******n thread I've ever seen on VN and I have no idea why I post in it to be honest.

Lol. Top recruits gets a lot of exposure. They ask for followers on Twitter and when they put their lives on "front steet" so everyone knows what they are about. For instance we knew Vic Wharton and TK Jr. were recruiting hard for us and Jalen Hurd was working out every day to be ready for the spring as an EE.

It's kinda obvious by what's out there. We haven't heard about the work he's putting in, so it's a safe assumption.

Prove to me otherwise, and I'll forget about it and drop the entire thing.
