After his visit to Auburn on Saturday for Big Cat Weekend, 5-star prospect*Torrance Gibson*of Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage said he needed to think it over Saturday night to figure out where things stood in his recruitment at the top.
Last week, Gibson told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports that Auburn and Tennessee were his co-leaders. But on Saturday, he said the trip Moved [Auburn] up a lot.
When asked if the thought of committing crossed his mind at any point during the visit, Gibson, who both Auburn and Tennessee are recruiting to play QB, replied, a little bit."
Sunday afternoon, Gibson sent 247Sports this direct message on Twitter: "Auburn is my leader but they both still share the #1 spot."
Asked to clarify if that meant the Tigers now held a slight edge over the Vols, he replied, "Yes."
Gibson is the No. 1 ATH and No. 15 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.
Saturday's visit was his second to Auburn. He stayed the night in Auburn.
