Who is your favorite uncommited qb in this class lv?
I did not really have one as I was not a fan till now of taking a 2nd QB. I had mentioned a while ago IF I had to take another scholarship QB, I would go and try to take Jack Beneventi from Iowa. They have 2 QBs committed and the kid had visited UT. I think he had some interest, but no offer. If I am adding a QB to go along with Jennings, I'd feel much safer going with a pass 1st QB.

We like the same prospect!! Agh! Ha but I really liked Jack's film and size.
I'd love any of Gibson, Francois, or Waller of the uncommitted. But Waller= Oregon and Francois is rumored to be FSU bound if they push from what people have said. Darnold and Dungey both had good films too.

It may not be his choice. It seems like this one is all over the place. One minute he is a Florida lock, then an Oregon lock then a FSU lock. It basically alot of guessing.
Some aay FSU seems pretty focused on Kai locksley as their 2nd QB
I actually thought Locksley to au and then Gibson would fall to UT. Then I just noticed today that Kai's dad actually is the offensive coordinator at Maryland. When I saw Maryland was in quite a bit of a lead on the CB's for the kid I was curious why. Dad coaching there explains it.

Qb recruiting this year reminds me of TE recruiting last year when one of the dominoes fell, then Helm and all the other highly regarded guys quickly committed to ensure their spots.. I could see it going that way with QBs soon.. Just takes the right domino to fall to start it.
Would love to see one of those dominoes bring someone back around who is already commited. If Spurrier retires or Gibson goes to Auburn, maybe it will cause Nunez or Queen to give us another look. Our situation was attractive with not taking smeone last year. It just got even more so with RFs departure.
Queen was one I really hoped would let his recruitment play out a little as I think he would have done well at UT had the coaches been able to get him. The kid does look like he is 100% au as of today and seems to be fine with them planning to take 2 QBs if they can.

So, you'd rather have a 3* QB with offers from Western Michigan and Wyoming than a 5*QB/4*ATH in Gibson or a 4*QB in Francois (both of which have offers from major SEC schools)?
