Even More Obamacare Follies

And there in lies the problem. The top echelon of "rulers, leaders, and representatives" lived like kings while the masses suffered.

What was good for the majority wasn't good for them. Kind of similar to our current "leaders and representatives".

Hypocrites and selfish/self serving, corrupted, vanity seeking, greed filled pos are what we currently have for the majority in DC. History repeating itself, except it isn't supposed to happen here.

Bush's fault, imo or are we still blaming him?

Life was better for the poor in Soviet Russia than it is in present day America?

That is some magnificent trolling. If there was an Oscar for trolling, Judge would be Daniel Day-Lewis.

Judge highlights the dire situation our country is in. If he is indeed over 18, he gets a vote. Note: This isn't so much a criticism of the system as it is the people in it.

Nice strawman. I don't want ALL goods and services to be free for everyone. I want that for healthcare. I also want to see a system where working any job will ensure you with a decent standard of living. If that requires price controls, then price controls I support. No one should be priced out of ANYTHING. And if the price system fails horribly in a certain area, I would like to see the state take over that sector and distribute goods more fairly. For example, televisions right now are brutally expensive. People who are below middle class have no access to one. If the state came in and made sure that the price of tvs was not too high for people who couldn't afford them, then I would support that.

Why does everyone need a television? I've actually been tryin to talk my wife into getting rid of directv for years.

Awesome. Give the people who aren't working something to do with their time. It's a 'right' to watch TV now...

We got rid of cable months ago. $30 over-air antenna and Roku saves us over $100/mo. It's sweet. Imagine that... Even people who work manage their purchases according to needs/wants.

It would save us about 115 a month that we could spend to pay off our land faster so we can refinance and build. We already have netflix and amazon prime.

I fully recommend from experience. The gotchas may be:

No MLB if you are into that...

Other arrangements for UT college football that is not on over-air broadcast.

Well... Basically most sports, lol. That's the last big cable package bullet on keeping people.

took some work but I did it. We've cut out lots of expenses in the past couple of years. It wasn't necessary to have a home or to eat so why would we do it? It's all about being smart with your money. Eliminate the unnecessary items which enable you to pay for the other things you need or want. You'd think someone so versed in economic theory as our resident Judge would understand that.

No one has to do that when the state produces everything and provides it as a 'right'. It worked well in the defunct USSR. It should work here too.
