Nice strawman. I don't want ALL goods and services to be free for everyone. I want that for healthcare. I also want to see a system where working any job will ensure you with a decent standard of living. If that requires price controls, then price controls I support. No one should be priced out of ANYTHING. And if the price system fails horribly in a certain area, I would like to see the state take over that sector and distribute goods more fairly. For example, televisions right now are brutally expensive. People who are below middle class have no access to one. If the state came in and made sure that the price of tvs was not too high for people who couldn't afford them, then I would support that.

LOL at you thinking "work" will bring you goods and services in a capitalist economy. News flash bozo, the working poor would be fricked if not for food stamps, section 8, and medicaid. In economics, there is a thing called "equilibrium price", where the demand and supply for an item are equal. What about those people who can only afford stuff at below the equilibrium price? They are out of luck. You would NEVER see such restrictions on goods in other economic systems.Having a tv is not a right nor is healthcare. If you want something work for it. If you still can't afford it get a better job.
It's government ran so it must be pretty good. I hear they have work camps kinda like the peace corps.

Lol. So you're proposing subsidies on everything. Lol. If your dream came to fruition then what would be the point in anybody working? Do you thing people who made choices to better themselves, get an education, learn a trade, & work for what they have are gonna be cool with this? With all the bs the libs have made available there's no reason any of these people should be living or working in poverty unless it's their choice & too damn lazy to do anything about it.
Only those who work are eligible for the free stuffLol. So you're proposing subsidies on everything. Lol. If your dream came to fruition then what would be the point in anybody working? You certainly bring some funny stats. 97% of homes have a TV. TVs can be purchased for under $200
Of course when you are paying $50K a year for insurance it may be tough to scrounge up $169.00 for an HDTV.
