That's what this team was lacking is another impact player who can take over a game. I think he'll make a good replacement for Mostella. Go Vols!
Imo, more of a replacement for Hubbs. But, who cares who he replaces along as UT got him. Walker and Kent meet our needs better. But this kid has elite athleticism and is a decent 3 point shooter. He doesn't have Hubbs mid-range game, yet. Mainly because when he drives to the hole, he is trying to break the backboard with an electrifying dunk. Barnes' has hit a homerun with this recruiting class, imo, Walker,6'8, power forward and Kent, the 6'10 center gives as the size we need. Top it off, with Pons, a 6'6 small forward, that will have TBA going crazy with SC Top 10 dunks. The future looks bright for the Vols basketball. Now, I want another, hopefully elite PG and I think we can contend for the SEC regular season championship, in 2 years and be in the NCAA Tourney, next year
Can't teach size. Give him some time to develop.
Read a report about Kent last week and it wasn't good. Said he was a poor defender, non physical and bad rebounder. I am not expecting much from him.
