Pretty much any 80s/early 90s action flick that's short on plot, long on action. Also:

Tucker and Dale vs Evil
2012 (special effects and one liners. "What's that?" "The State of Hawaii...")
Red Planet
Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets (BBC production)
Downfall (other than the Hitler parodies, it's a good film)
The Last Starfighter
Innerspace (might fit into the 80s genre)
Enemy Mine
LadyHawke
The Firm
2010
All of the late 40s/1950s and 1960s WWII depiction flicks
The Black Hole
Tron
Wargames
Office Space

Just a few off the top of my head.

Tucker and Dale is vastly underrated.

Easily in my top 7 or so horror movies. I remember watching it thinking "great another hillbilly horror movie...wait wtf is this?" Lol

A really good not well known horror/comedy is Housebound. It's on Netflix FWIW

New Zealand does horror/comedy better than anyone. IMO I'm pretty sure BigDaddy said he really liked it too.

Fap goggles engaged.

I don't really consider it to be a horror movie per se. It's a comedy with horror undertones.

Breakin

Zoolander

The Cutting Edge

A Knight's Tale

Southland Tales

Girl Interrupted

I just said earlier that I really liked the cutting edge. An old girlfriend made me watch, but I liked it.
