Two things here, Almond Joy...

First, Congress is doing the impeaching. If the GOP is trying to distance themselves from Trump as you have stated so many times, I'm not sure he has that much pull with them to get that done behind the scenes.

Second, it's been shown the FBI/DOJ ISN'T complying with the requests of Congress as they are supposed to by law. You and I both know if you are the defense in a court case (slightly different situation here, but same principle) and the prosecution isn't sending over documents they are required to, you raise holy hell in the courtroom.

If Rosenstein gets canned by Congress, he brought it on himself.

Charges filed against Russian individuals that will never reach the court room? Thus supposed "evidence" will never have to be presented?

It sounds as though LG is hopinig that the witch hunt investigation is causing Trump and the conservatives enough political headache so as to prevent them from exercising their duty of holding the DOJ accountable when the DOJ is being asked to be transparent and accountable to oversight.


It's literally as simple as that.
