Or Dobbs versus Armani Moore and Kevin Punter...

Cross marketing...good stuff...

Dave Hart vs. Debby Jennings loser leave town match...might get some folks out.

Obviously this would have to be a post game deal but could be supplemented with a fireworks display for the kids who just don't understand.

Oh...forgot to mention, but others have...what is so hard about having the O&W game fall on a Tennessee baseball /softball game/weekend?

The spring game was on the same weekend as a baseball series last year. Unfortunately, with the TV contract set up, even if they are on the same day, UT cannot guarantee that they won't be held at the same time, as they were last year.

This season, there are only two weekends in April that baseball is at home. The first weekend of April was too early to hold the spring game, based on the spring practice schedule. Butch actually wanted to move spring practice back a week, start after spring break, and hold the game on April 23. That weekend, both baseball and softball are at home. Because of how the semester falls, that would leave less than a week between the spring game and the end of classes, a situation that was discouraged by both the academic counselors with football as well as other campus entities that schedule prospective student visits and other events around the orange and white game.

I think them being at the same time while not ideal is okay...god bless the guy who can sit through the whole spring game, but many folks might try to catch a lil bit of both.

What I find interesting about your comment is that you seem to be saying this isn't a done deal two or three years out, I dunno why, but that kind of surprises me.

Anyway, thanks for all your contributions to the board, you have a knack for showing up at the right time and your info and opinions are of immense value to many of us here.

this is a "BUMP" regarding the streaming of Baseball games......

It's well worth the read and sheds some light on the issue we all have regarding the Baseball program.

How much money is UT allocated for televising baseball games? I would like to see a nonconference home game televised on occasion.

Thanks for any information.
