Thanks. Uh, my ignorance is very likely showing, but we seem a bit light on the DL. Almost, just almost looks Lyle Allenish size-wise.
I was concerned heading into the offseason about DT depth. I still am a little bit, but Omari Thomas coming back was huge.

Random musings:
Merklinger and Moore will compete for #2. Can they afford to redshirt Merklinger with that kid from Brentwood on deck?
I thought they might beef up Brazzell to be a TE.
DeSean Bishop up to 200 lb. Wow. He was little in HS.
Is your list of WRs in any order? I hope Nimrod and Webb have developed.
You allow for all contingencies, but it’s always better (for both the player and program) to preserve eligibility for non-immediate starters unless they’re the heavy favorite to be the starter next season imo. I was all for getting Nico into as many games as possible for his development. Didn’t work out that way. Merk and future competition should have options if they don’t seize the starting nod after a couple offseasons. Trying to engineer otherwise is classic Saban.

When did Trevor Duncan switch to offensive line? I thought he was a defensive line guy or do I have it backwards?
I know there was a bunch of talk of him switching positions, but I can’t remember where he was recruited for.

He's officially listed as an offensive lineman on recent roster.

Can anybody tell me anything about Tim Amet? He is listed with our DL, 6-4, 350. I Googled him and it just said, a walk-on, and born in Knoxville. Anybody know of him from high school?

I’m excited about this kid from Oregon State that transferred in. We desperately need athleticism on the back end. We need a game changing safety. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a guy that could cover a lot field in a short time .
LFG! 🍊

KNS published this guess at our depth chart before spring practice begins.

Jermod McCoy is the guy you rightly mention who transferred from Oregon St. I agree with you: He held his own in a pass-happy league last year as a freshman. Jakobe Thomas is a guy who was planning to portal to Oregon St, but flipped to the good guys. He's more of a strong safety type. Boo Carter, who will be a true frosh, is a guy to keep an eye on, as well as Gibson and maybe Matthews. New look secondary and an exciting year!

I’m so freaking excited about the potential of this team!!
GO V🍊LS!!
I'm with you. I think the Vols go 11-1 and make playoffs. Also, they will finish with a top 5 recruiting class for 25. Never seen us trend for so many big names at once like we are 25 class. We win games those commitments will follow

You’ll have Omari, Moi, Weathersby, ONL, Hobbs, West, Simmons etc. Pretty good imo. Edge is just crazy talented as well. Think West can alternate inside or out.
