He was a horrendous candidate. It was like Weekend at Bernies - the RNC having to come in and prop the guy up. This was a test to see if the best Dem candidate can beat Bernie. And it’s a nailbiter

I really don’t get why people argue so much over politics. Nothing ever changes. The only way things change is if society as a whole goes all the way left or right. We never will do that so...find something better to do with your lives.

But again TX is ignored since the blue wave evaporated? GAVol got it right. Esp after confirmation of the term and immediate campaigning to start. This is a nothing burger for either side.

Actually Lamb does get a 9 month internship to see if he can keep his job. He’s basically given the finger to mainstream dims. Now if he gets in line how many Repubs who voted for him this time swap back in November?

No, I was willingly (and gladly) trumpeting the coming demise of Republicans years ago because they got in power and squandered it. They’re doing better this time. I don’t disagree that triggered libs are anxious to help their feels by getting out to the ballot box, but there is 100% certainty this race would have been different had this republican even had a pulse.

what it shows is that a lot of districts are in play..... if Democrats are willing to move away from Pelosi/Schumer and run moderate candidates.

Yes, I agree, run moderates. Same with the White House. Not an ideologue. Not someone making a statement about race or gender. Just smart, funny, calm, promising a return to normalcy and stability in the presidency. Easy win.

He’ll be running in a democratic leaning district, he’ll probably win fairly easily.
