Phil Steele's 2012 Preseason All-SEC Team

In general, I like Steele when he's on Bill King's show, but I'm struggling with how he came up with 4 QBs better than Bray in the conference. Wilson and Murray yes, but who else? Shaw?? Franklin at Mizzou?? Most know I'm skeptical of just how good Bray can be, but with what looks like overall weak talent for QB play in this conference, Bray is still better than 5th.

That's because he's not

Wow... It's just ridiculous how far away the opinions on Bray are.. Some "experts" say he will be the second qb taken next year, and be in Heisman contention, while some believe there r 5 or 6 qb's ahead of him in his own league.

AC I believe Bray has the potential to be excellent. But he hasn't proven it. Talented yes. I would say he is one of the most talented Qb's in the SEC Top 2 actually. But that doesn't merit being an All-SEC selection.

The 2011 All-SEC team was based on what the players did on the field in 2011. This list is based on potential...
