Official Bowl Game Announcement Thread

The people of Nashville care.

It's good for the city to have a good bowl game

Nashville has done a great job seeing their bowl rise in perception

That being pretty much true and the fact several fan bases further south dont travel north well -- UT might get stuck there just because of the revenue factor

After how last year went down and reports of that day, I don't think even the bowls know who is getting who at this hour

Would like to see Penn State get sent to Nashville instead of Louisville -- at least if TAM is the SEC team, Vandy fans can see Franklin and PSU fans do travel well enough to bring in alot of revenue

Okay guys, let's get real here! We have lost to 2 of the teams that are going to be in the CFP. And both of those teams were losses by less that a touchdown. We are Citrus bound!!!!

GO VOLS!!!!

How much of this crap do we have to listen to before they announce the rest of the Bowl teams?

Here's kind of the pity of this year's Playoff outcome. Right now, the leagues likely to be represented are:

1. ACC
2. SEC
3. B12
4. B10

Left out? PAC.

But if you look at the conferences, the weak man is the ACC. PAC actually did really well as a conference (second best, behind the SEC).

Is 2-loss Stanford better than 0-loss Clemson? We don't know. We probably never will.

But we do know that the best four conferences aren't likely to be represented this year.

It's an imperfect system.

I still love it, and everything about college football.

Go Vols!

Yes! Oklahoma and Bama are in different playoff games. That's awesome. Hoping it'll be the two of them playing for the NC after smashing over-rated Clemson and a plucky Michigan State.

For those depending on VN for updates, CFP Committee just announced:

#1 Clemson will play #4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl
#2 Bama will take on #3 Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl
