Hmmm ok... I see your point but Ohio St. has 3 top 100 perimeter recruits already committed to them ( a pg, a guard, and a wing). We all know Keirstan Bell is gonna play. So do those 3 go there and give them 6 perimeter recruits? It’s possible (Jackson can swing between 3 and stretch 4 yes) .
SC does seem to have a lot of pt but cooper, Harris, Jackson, Henderson all receive playing time for a year. They’ll be seniors... is it Herrigan or grisset Dawn mentioned a couple of times as playing out of position (which ever one is a 3/4 she was taking about). But regardless that is two more players that are GOING to play for y’all. So that brings it up to 6 and not to mention the other freshman y’all signed this year and if they develop. You guys return 9 players next season if everything holds true (the majority of them being upperclassmen).
UL- not even gonna comment on becuz they are legit still in the running for 12 top 50 kids
UConn - is in the running for some top kids two but will be fairly young after this season. Not that it seems to matter with them.
TN- we have Westbrook, Massengill,Zay Green, burrell, and Rennia who switches between 3/4. burrell May or may not need some time to develop (shoot as with green and Massengill). Mimi will be under the basket or possibly pick and pop. KK and Harris will be under the basket. Our thing is we most likely get rid of two starters after this year which will either bump someone up from the bench or allow someone to come in and fill in those rolls. So we return 8 kids with 2 comitts (10 total unless something changes) so far. So we have playing time also ;-) The Hayes’ situation has opened up more playing time for this current group to develop but also trickles down to next year’s crew as well
MsSt can also boast playing time with 4 starters gone from last year, they are also one of the hottest teams right now.
The good thing is you don’t have to start to play a significant roll. CHW/Hayes proved you can come off the bench as a freshman and be effective plus get some accolades along the way.
