Inflation Reduction Act

"Budget experts say the revenue raising portions of the IRA still haven't taken full effect and when they do, the cost of the law's energy tax credits will likely drown them out. The projections for interest rates – already at a 16-year high – may further doom the IRA's success."

So it was the turd we thought it was.

spend more, kill the economy and bring in less revenue, and them make big plans for more spending..what could go wrong. Biden is toast

New report out saying Biden's financial package to Israel will come out of the IRS budget under the IRA. Maybe some agents just lost their job.

Is there even a budget this year or is part of another CR?

Is the COVID spend from 2020 still baked into the “baseline”?

No, the crazy House Republicans want the money to come from the IRS. Dems won't have it. Republican losers complain about the debt but want to starve the agency that brings in the lion's share of government revenue. They stink--as usual--of hypocrisy.

Pedo Joe and Cackling Ho setting new records again.

Treasury set to borrow $776 billion next quarter, the most ever borrowed in the fourth quarter

The Treasury also said it expects to borrow $816 billion in the first quarter of next year. That would also mark a record level of borrowing for a first quarter.

You know the scary part? If they balanced the budget today, this borrowing will still have to occur.
Revenues are way down yet rubes say the economy is strong. If the economy was strong what would the debt look like if it was not?

What a ****ing train wreck.

If I’m not mistaken, it was a Biden spokesperson stating they would use money that was originally earmarked for the IRS under the IRA legislation. We will see.
