For sure, but way too much baggage here- he's responsible for the worst defense in Tenn history. It would be a disgrace to Gen Neyland's statue to have to watch that guy walk into his house any longer than necessary.

Although you may be correct.....the financial savings by keeping him as LB coach would be substantial

No he won't. He just got a big extension and raise before the season and will not get another one this soon, especially coming off a 7-5 season. $4.5 million should get it done.
