LMU beat Bellarmine 74-60 Sat. No. 5 team in the nation. Defense is much better. Got some tough games coming though. Rematch on the road with Newberry, Carson Newman at home and Queens the no. 3 team in the nation on the road [I believe] I've really enjoyed going to their games. Great brand of basketball with good 3 point shooting and up and down the floor action.

If you were a highly sought after recruit, would you rather play for an attention ho coach that constantly barks out orders or a guy that rolls the ball out and let's you do your thing?

It'd depend on how good the coach is.

That's a different variable. Equal coaching... do you want an attention seeking clown-coach barking out orders at you constantly or one that doesn't insert himself into the game and wants his players to be the focus of the contest?

The latter,no question.

"Coming up! A family affair. We'll break it down. When we return" (from the commercial).

Little Stevie?

Edit: Nope... it's the Drew family. No mention of Stephen "****ing" Pearl.

LMU throttled Mars Hill last night 93-64 but Coach Schertz was disappointed in the second half performance. After opening a big lead they let up and went one on one pretty much. The Splitters improve to 10 and 3 and have a very tough road game at undefeated Queens [13-0] ranked 3rd in the nation in N.C. this weekend.

Gonzaga at San Francisco is far more competitive than Cal-UCLA. It's hard to believe that the Dons dominated college basketball back in the day.
