Expect to see news on AD disaster

Btw, I saw Rucker say the records needed to be combed through by the media before being reported on. **** that. If it’s public record release them all.

Remember, it's illegal for you to possess these documents. It's different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you're learning from them.

What a cluster. No brady hoke you didn't win a game. Glad currie is gone. No to bill haslam as next ut prez as they have already screwed tenn and the browns suck.

If Bill Haslam even sniffs the UT President position, fans should revolt. I don't care how much money that family gives or has given. KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THIS UNIVERSITY, THEY ARE A CANCER!!

Currie was 100% Haslam. The Haslam's have destroyed this program.

Yes. Would love to know what really went on with the AD “search”. But you are right, Bev did not own the Currie hire; not even the complete BOT did. She rubber stamped a done deal, maybe part of hiring her was choosing someone willing to “stamp”. If so, that has backfired, at least a little. Unfortunately she is going to have to live with that hire and the Power 5 requirement fiasco for the length of her tenure here. She’s a big girl playing in a big game; may as well be ready to be tough.

Pulling for her to succeed since that is in UT’s best interest.

Pulling even harder for Phil and Pruitt. Go Vols.

He worked at UT for a good while. Even had a Masters from the school.

Good thing you’ve already apologized for being a Currie apologist while disparaging Blackburn as a guy who should be working st a fast food window and categorically stating that Fulmer wasn’t qualified to be an AD. Helps somewhat negate you, for some odd reason, still sticking up and defending the guy. Did you really mean that mea culpa or nah?

Might wanna sit this thread out Butchna.

Love how he calls the fans wackos for not wanting a coach accused of covering up a pedophile, failed in the NFL and was driven out by his own teammates who hated him and accused him of psychological warfare, and broke even as head coach in the NCAA and has never coached in the SEC.

Yeah, we’re wackos because we don’t want a scandal ridden mediocre coach.

UT fans and alumni need to come to the realization that this job is not very popular in the eyes of coaches across the country.

If these coaches are the ONLY ones to be a serious option... we've really fallen to the bottom of the barrel.

Mike Gundy and Dan Mullen are bottom of the barrel?

“Good evening Mr. Currie. Sooo are the rumors true?” Dobbs texted to Currie.

“Which rumors?” Currie replied.

“A lot of buzz around Coach Gruden. Wasnt sure if it is legit or heresay,” Dobbs replied.

“Geez even you?” Currie replied.

“Hahaha what’s that supposed to mean?!” Dobbs replied.

That's Joshua Dobbs communicating with Currie above.

Man we had so many "Donors" of the program saying how close we were to signing Gruden:post-4-1090547912:

You mean we are NOT getting Gruden?!?!:blink:

i think you have to consider who was making the list of choices. i think it's pretty evident now that there was a very short list to begin with, and there really wasn't a lot of effort put in to going after virtually any of the "names" people wanted, or thought we might have a shot at. by all accounts, they probably could have hired Les Miles and Tee Martin. but they weren't really ever a consideration. Never even attempted with Chip Kelly, and aside from Dan Mullen, Schiano was the top of the list it seems.

and by the time they did try to go to other candidates, the damage was done.
