She rubber stamped a done deal, maybe part of hiring her was choosing someone willing to “stamp”. If so, that has backfired, at least a little. i think you have to consider who was making the list of choices. i think it's pretty evident now that there was a very short list to begin with, and there really wasn't a lot of effort put in to going after virtually any of the "names" people wanted, or thought we might have a shot at. by all accounts, they probably could have hired Les Miles and Tee Martin. but they weren't really ever a consideration. Never even attempted with Chip Kelly, and aside from Dan Mullen, Schiano was the top of the list it seems.
