Actually, that's the Libertarians, Al. They're the big free speech, little-government, let-us-live-our-lives movement.

Liberal movement is about the redistribution of wealth. Namely, from the rich to the poor. Spreading the money around, liberally, so we've all got the same amount. They're only big proponents of free speech for folks who agree with that agenda.

So Liberal = economic focus. Libertarian = freedom focus.

Maybe I'm thinking of liberal in a classic sense. The liberal that used to advocate for individual liberties. A far cry from what we see today. Liberals today more closely resemble socialists, IMO.

That being said, my proclivities lie somewhere between Libertarianism and Conservatism..

Another sports day, another example of being politically correct at the expense of good sense and a value system that reflects more than what Disney West inspires.

Not that it was the point of my post, but Patriot Prayer in San Francisco. Some group I have not heard of in Berkeley - I will probably skip this one after all, I am not familiar with them and I expect a lot of violence from anarchists.

My point being that libs can find this PC crap out of hand.

What is Patriot Prayer all about?

So given the fact that Mr. Lee requested it, we still blame ESPN for being too politically correct?

Did someone twist ESPN's arm to have them broadcast the need to do the right thing here? If, as an afterthought, they felt the need to not risk something they fear more than bad ratings, their political correctness being challenged, then simply make the adjustment. Who knew he was there to start with? Not you or anyone else.

Where do you see that he asked to be moved off the game? The espn statement even says they "collectively" made the decision to move him off of it.

"A network spokesperson told SI's Richard Deitsch that ESPN did not force Lee to change assignments and that Lee personally felt more comfortable moving to another game."
