For those of you that don't remember, Mosley was the one who did this

to announce his commitment. Seemed like a very well-spoken and humble kid. Glad to hear he's ok.

Rods is probably incorrect. More than likely a tibia nail and maybe a plate on the fib if necessary. Fib isn't nailed. It's too skinny and either resets as the tib heals or they use a plate and screws.

Thanks Doogie Howser. We all appreciate the unsolicited smarty pants medical evaluation. I bet you're a blast at party's.

Sad Day for UT, and BigCharles family. How for a speedy recovery but its probably going to be a long road for the Big man.

I spent some time on the golf course recently with a former coach who knows the Mosley family well. He stated several times what a good kid Charles is and how he respected Charles family. He said the one area of concern was Charles may be to nice on football field. Praying for Charles and a quick turn around..,,

Well, it looks like a redshirt year to heal, get the weight down and build up strength. Bummer!

Could have been worse as was the case for former Aub TE Lutzenkirchen.

Without knowing the details of the crash, it would be a good time for CBJ to preach seat belt use and operational risk management to these guys who generally feel immortal and are overly careless at that young age.

Do you work for the THP?

As a vehicle specialist, or VS, it's my opinion it's highly likely he was buckled and in the front seat as the front of the car/engine came in after a frontal collision. This would put blunt force impact on a leg/legs.
Or he had his big foot hanging out of the window getting it some air.

Maybe, just maybe, this will do just enough to P/$Z him off!!

There are different degrees of tib/fib breaks. It can be clean and neat, or it can be messy with numerous breaks and be right at the ankle, like my wife's. They tried plate and screws, took all that out and locked her up with the "halo." She had five surgeries in four years, always failed to heal, then finally had her ankle fused. For those of you who really pray, pray it wasn't too severe and complicated.
