Wait...Is Alvin Kamara the guy with the football breaking 60 yrd TD runs over and over again?

This might be a long season for the rest of the SEC.

Hope he stays for more than one year and I think him splitting carries with Hurd should help that. I think Kamara gets 600 yards rushing and Hurd gets 750 yds rushing. Dobbs rushing yds go down which is good. Also Kamara getting 400 yds recieving wouldn't surprise me either. So many weapons!!

I sure hope they run more for 1,300 combined yards. Consider that Hurd and Lane combined for 1200 last year and our running game was bad. I would hope that one of the 2 goes over 1,000 and the other doesn't miss it by too awful much....maybe in the 750-900 yd range. Then throw in maybe 400-500 yds from Dobbs and a dozen or so yds from the Pig sweeps (lol) and that looks like a much improved running game imo.

No disrespect to Lane, but it's going to be damn nice having two elite backs in the backfield.

Agreed. That's why I hope Hurd/Kamara blows Hurd/Lane's rushing totals/production out of the water...if Kamara is who we all think he is, it shouldn't be very difficult to do.

He reminded me of Marcus Allen when he leaped over the pile at the goal line. His ability to cut and change directions remind me of Barry Sanders. I wonder if my expectations are a little high? :)

Nah they are on par. He's the next Barry Sanders and Hurd is the next AP (on the football field).

I'm thinking of seeking odds this fall that both Hurd and Kamara out rush Chubb in our heads up game this year. I can't get them until we get closer to game time, but a couple of casinos take odds on anything.

House Call Kamara, any time he touches the ball it could go to da house! Play maker extraordinaire! It's not going to be fun trying to wrap your arms around Hurd or Kamara in the 4th quarter this year.

UT will have a hell of a running game in 2015. I think Kamara could be a Reggie Bush or maybe another Knowshon Moreno

His vision, balance, athleticism are very impressive. Is it just me or does he remind anyone else of Charlie Garner? Can't wait to this young man play!!!

The backfield could be like Marcus Allen and Charles White

He's had the luxury of making some mistakes and missing some opportunities.

He's gradated from the school of hard knocks...except the ones he delivers on the field!

Hurd keeps improving and Kamara lives up to his billing it will take a lot of pressure from Dobbs. With all the WR's coming back and healthy this could be a very interesting year for the offense. Can't wait. GBO

If the line don't suck...and they could

An elite back can get huge yards with a mediocre line. Look at Walter Peyton of the Bears from 1975-1982,he had no offensive line what so ever and ran for 1000+ yards every season but 1975 and 1982 because of the strike.

He's smaller than Johnnie Jones was. He's a smallish back like Reggie Bush.

As much as I hate to say it, I loved the combo of Reggie Bush and Lendale White at USC. I really like the change of pace and different styles we can play with backs like Hurd and Kamara.
