It is dishonest to blame Trump's fiscal irresponsibility on COVID. Trump NEVER prioritized spending reductions. That is evident from his fiscal year budget requests. He absolutely got bent over and did whatever he was told wrt Covid. He was incredibly weak, and acquiesced to others.
Big part of what make the Dictator histrionics so laughably absurd.
Covid was the ultimate power play opportunity - as evidenced by many State executives who seized on the opportunity and restricted rights.
Donald Trump has sought to downplay the events of January 6, 2021 since the day it happened, without any consideration given to how that might make Capitol Police officers injured during the riot feel. Trump has even gone as far as to refer to anyone sent to prison for acts of violence that day as being a "hostage." That includes the guy seen beating a police officer over the head with a flag pole - who Trump has said he will pardon. Trump is as much a supporter of the police as he is honest, humble and fiscally responsible.Pathetic, meanwhile Trump wants to pardon J6 insurrections that assaulted cops. He knows no shame, truly a sick and twisted individual.
The saddest part of it all is that his supporters fail to see that Trump could care less about cops or law and order. Aside from his J6 pardoning nonsense, he has also been constantly disparaging judges and their families and the AG's. So much for accountability and law and order. Trump is all about Trump. Nothing more, nothing less. There is not one good cell in his body.Donald Trump has sought to downplay the events of January 6, 2021 since the day it happened, without any consideration given to how that might make Capitol Police officers injured during the riot feel. Housing prices in local pockets are greatly influenced by supply and demand. Nationally it is affected by lending (and issues associated), and inflation.Incredibly over simplistic. Housing prices are influenced by WAY MORE than government spending.
Having said that, everyone it seems agrees that we need to curb spending and pay down debt. So let's have a rational debate about how to get that done. But leave the dumbed down histrionics at the door.
