2024 Presidential Race

It's well established. All politicians lie, as do all lawyers, all bankers, all ministers, all plumbers, and all people.
The key is (and "obviously" has to be) that they do not all lie equally.

Trump just lies far more than any president in history....
he's habitual, chronic, pathological, -- even when it's completely unnecessary. It's part of his DNA.

The first night of his presidency he forced Spicer to lie about the crowd size....lol....that's trump in a nutshell.
Sure. Trump probably does lie more than Biden. He lies constantly about the most inane nonsense. It’s ridiculous.

That’s not the point. But you know that.

The point is that all that energy to fact check simply went away…

And Joe Biden tells some whoppers. Crickets.

I'm just not sold on the fact that Biden is being fact checked a whole lot less.
But maybe they are not making as big of a deal out of Biden's lies.. not sure.
But that's kind of on trump, he 100% brought that scrutiny on himself.

Biden has been a documented, habitual liar since he entered politics. It cost him at least one run for potus. He is constantly lying to prop up his empty resume and does it more than the other politicians.

Yep. He's horrible and yet still far preferable to trump.

the correct answer is that neither is preferable.

Biden is actually worse because no one knows who is currently running the executive branch. Unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats running it should be terrifying and highly illegal to anyone who cares about the future of the country

We both know Trump broke the mold.
Biden has been less than, but that’s not saying much…

We can be intellectually honest here and admit two things:
- Biden ain’t Trump
- Biden ain’t being fact checked

Incredibly over simplistic. Housing prices are influenced by WAY MORE than government spending.

Having said that, everyone it seems agrees that we need to curb spending and pay down debt. So let's have a rational debate about how to get that done. But leave the dumbed down histrionics at the door.

How many years have you been calling for a reduction in spending?

Find a fact check from Reuters or others like about his railroad on the collapsed bridge...

Houses have not doubled in price in 4 yrs. Calling BS on that

Trump didn't do too much of this until Covid hit. I'd say GW Bush was worse fiscally than Trump
Trump was running trillion dollar deficits prior to covid. Then he signed off on covid spending and promised much more. Yeah, he did way too much of it for a guy who promised he'd easily pay off the national debt

How many COVID packages did Trump and Congress pass? How many did Biden pass?
Since Covid happened on Trump's watch, my guess is it'd be Trump. Those were not Republican bills. They were extremely bipartisan. For example this bill passed the House 417-1. That's not on Trump. That means pretty much everyone felt it was money that had to be spent
