Hunter is really going to struggle to guard in the NBA and i'm not sure how well he will play off ball.

With Memphis they could hide him with relative ease. And they'd welcome his shooting with open arms.

I think he would do just fine running off screens from Zach and Marc.

Although with two pg's coming right after two centers, I could see how it's fine. Russell/Mudiay with Melo and possibly Monroe is a decent core. They need more pieces but a young pg would be fine too.

Lakers got to move up, not lose the pick. Big for them. Now I'm wondering if we see Randle/Karl next year.

Some nights you're gonna have a bad night, and have to find other ways to contribute. What can he do other than score right now?

Except he is good at other stuff. He's a good rebounder. It's not like he's a liability on D.

Versatile guys have bad games too. Just because you are a specialist doesn't mean you are more likely to hAve a bad day.

Neither guy wants to be the number 1 pick. When's the last time that's happened. Usually destination franchises aren't pickng that high.

Even with the Knicks falling to 4, they can still get a future all star. This draft is deep. Russell or Mudiay are both outstanding.

He's a liability in the pick and roll. And let's see what happens when guys as big as he is are guarding him the post and double teams are coming from another guy almost as big.

I simply think later on we'll look back and realize Okafor still had a lot of work to get better. Who knows, he might indeed ball out, average 20/10 and be a fantastic player for his career. But the defense will be interesting to watch. But yes, he is a liability on defense sometimes, we'll see in the nba.

Was just about to comment on that. Hell nah on going up to near Canada. Lemme move to LA, play with Kobe for a year and then become the franchise piece.

Maybe it was just the games I watched, but I remember him throwing bad passes on some double teams when they were well done. But I hear a lot now how he's a great passer out of them. Not sure really.

I thought it was heartbreaking in 07 when the Grizz didn't get the #1 and fell to 4. They lost on the Oden sweepstakes but hindsight 20/20, they drafted Conley.

That's an outlier. You want the franchise big man. They just lost that. Maybe they'll get a good player or maybe they'll Knick it up, as they do.

He's good at passing out of them. The difference is the size of the man guarding him and the size, athletic ability of the guys playing the passing lanes. Also, there's not nearly as much time in the post as in college.

I'm not sold on Kaminski or Myles Turner. I think you guys are undervaluing Okafor a little. I would probably take Towns over him, but not by much.
