'13 PA WR Tyler Boyd

It doesn't have anything to do with North. Boyd said after the Army game he wanted to visit Tennessee as the Vol coaches have been after him the last month. Just think they're are trying to get two Army AA WRs in one class. Sometimes, things can be positive.

Tennessee has been after Boyd since December. He committed to Pitt at the Army game and after it he told our Rivals guys there he still wanted to visit Tennessee. Boyd and North have nothing to do with one another. Numbers aren't likely to be a problem and why not take two of the top 10 receivers in the country if you can? I think people are making a little too much out of it. Even if North would have committed this past weekend, you don't tell a guy as good as Boyd no when he's interested in you.

This simply cannot be a bad thing. Will take every 4* WR they can get!

He said after the Army game that he also planned to visit Michigan State. Is that still happening? Any other horses still in the race?

After the game, he still seemed pretty unsure of where he was gonna play in the Fall. He committed during the game and then in a post-game interview said that his recruitment will remain open until February 6th.

Here's the Rivals link with the post-game interview:

Pitt has two of his best friends committed also. Very tough pull. He was at pitt again over weekend

Hopefully they showed him the mock draft where our two starting JUNIOR WR'S are in the 1st round. That might sway his decision, IMO.

I'm starting to think the odds of us landing some elite receivers this cycle are pretty high.

He will be unstoppable after college strength program. He is a great safety also and is extremely physical. He is legit 6 2"
