Not to suggest that maybe volnation is overreacting with JG, but numbers don't lie, though they might not tell the whole truth. We might be a little hard on the young man...
> Jarrett Guarantano ranks sixth in the SEC in passer rating (144.36) and yards per attempt (8.0) and has the same...
I love facts. GA and AL are clearly more talented, (plus Auburn) FL might have a slight lead, we are about equal to SC maybe a slight lead. If we win 1 out of those Four is about what we should expect and than hope that we lose one flat game against a weaker team (everyone does) would make a...
I think ESPN actually did some math and every team has transfers. winning is a combination of Talent, Scheme / home advantage.
I think in the Eastern Conference you have three tiers of talent right now.
Tier One is Georgia they are closer to Alabama than anyone in the East. For this...
Actually a review of FL and TN talent as defined by recruiting stars - found the two teams almost identical. (TN younger) So really this is a match up of two teams with almost identical talent. So it will be decided more by coaching and schemes with ,of course, FL getting the home field advantage.
Actually - I would say that Worley was the better quarterback last year. When given time he showed he could pick apart defenses. Dobbs is still not the passer that Worley was. But, Dobbs was able to make positive yardage when his OL fell apart and Worley could not. Against an overall weaker...
Not to put a pin on your political rant, but facts just don't back up any of your statements. The top twenty wealthiest states are all dark blue with the exception of Alaska.
Unemplyment is a bit of a mixed bag. For example California a dark blue state is right between Georgia and...
I think there is no question - that our receiving core will be better this year. Especially the first half of the year they sucked :) But I think expecting a lot of first year players to rise us from the bottom quartile to the top receiving core in a single year is very unrealistic. We are...
A nice raise - but he was on the bottom of the SEC in pay. 1.8 million puts him in the middle of the pack. After a Sweet 16 run you would think he would qualify for a salary in the 3 to 5 range of the SEC or around 2.1 or 2.2 Million. Anything less is an insult and not showing we want a...
I see that UT only offered him 1.8 Million after a sweet 16 run? No wonder he left. I was thinking more like 2.2 Million was far market value. Anyone know what Cal offered him?
I am sorry - but when you find this many things to complain about when 'your' team is in the Sweet 16, and has a chance to equal or better its best run in the history of its program....
There is something just WRONG with the Poster. Mentally, Emotionally or he is (as previously mentioned)...
No question the last five years the Vols have clearly established themselves as the worse fan base of any college team in the USA. The fan base most likely to run down their own coach.
I do believe it is a vocal minority though - from my perspective it started with the ride to fame that...
Actually 'technically' it is round one of the NCAA tournament - the 'play in game' styling - was replaced by the NCAA simply expanding the field, like they did when they expanded to 64. But, I agree the structure and feel is of a play-in-game.
It should be a good game - Go Vols!
There is a lot of sports talk chatter - that his might be Alabama best recruiting class in history. They do have a lot of high ranked kids. But, if you look at the big picture - total impact of the class of premium level 4 and 5 star recruits:
How many 4 and 5 stars does Alabama have? 18...
It is crazy for us to act like CBJ is not taking some risk though. He might have a plan - but lets talk straight; if he has a plan it is to break at least the intent of the NCAA rules. Any recruit over 30 is UT walking on land mines. We might be able to get though it - but it is dangerous...
