Just take a real pointy knife or something similar and work it out of the lock from the side cutouts.

If you have natural gas service to your home, consider a natural gas grill. I have a gas line to the exterior of my home terminating with a quick connect (an on/off valve just before it). The flexible line on my natural gas grill also has a quick connect. As Joe would post, Boom!

When we bought our house in Napa we had gas run to the kitchen so we could have a gas range. I had them extend it to our backyard for a natural gas grill, it was quite convenient and I really enjoyed having that. Then we sold our house and I moved to a condo and it was not so great.
