2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I hope he does, but I'm doubting he will. I think the one thing Trump will accomplish is opening up America's eyes to how corrupt and criminal the presidential race and the political process has become. The establishment will get their (wo)man regardless of what the majority wants...

With the panic in the Republican party, the question is do (in fact when you factor in arrogance) can they recognize that Trump's popularity is directly linked to their selling out the electorate. The talk of the last elections has turned to nothing; they have blocked Obama on pretty much nothing; and don't bet against another Obama Supreme Court nominee getting the OK. Trump is basically a vote for "None of the above" - many will vote for him not because he is competent or fit to be president, but because he isn't one of the rest including the clowns on the other side. Political correctness (to which Trump seems immune) is simply a polite way of saying ideological emasculation - or having had an elective conformal lobotomy.

Hilda has yet to knock out a Communist from the democrat race, which should tell everyone something about her many weaknesses.

Trump will garner a few million democrat votes and many of the so called independent voters.

It is a given that the News Medias will try everything they possibly can to install Hilda into the white house. But Donald Trump is not John McCain or Mitt Romney, and Trump has appeal across many demographics, and his support is fervent and will last through November.

Trump will defeat Hilda by at least 5 points.

The SILENT MAJORITY stands with Trump.

I never thought Romney would win.

And based on the enthusiasm of the Republican voter.

So they enthusiastically choose not to vote for trump on fox polls ? Also interesting that you can't find anyone who thought Romney was going to win now yet millions of people did.

Again you need to look up the word majority

Their denial runs deep. They just cannot come to grips with the consequences of the demographic changes.

I'm coming to think of Trump's impending defeat as a necessary evil. A basically gift-wrapped election for the Rs lost because of this clown.

I just hope the party changes toward sanity and not further away from it.

Trust me, it's a majority. They just don't show up at the ballot box or respond to the pollmakers... but it's there!

Polls aren't designed to factor in your input; they are an attempt to categorize inputs to preconceived notions, so frequently they get it wrong. There is no earthly reason to respond to a loaded poll or to listen to anyone's party line, so I just don't answer the phone for a number I don't recognize - they'll leave a message if it's important. I doubt seriously that I'm in the minority.

Unless Trump supporters are innately wired to not respond to polls at a greater frequency than those who support other candidates, I don't see how that's relevant. Most of the major poll misses on the Republican side have pretty much been those who grossly overestimated Trump supporters (usually in closed primaries or caucuses), not the other way around. When I see Trump continually losing to Clinton and Sanders while the other candidates draw even or win, it's somewhat concerning. His favorability ratings are also unprecedentedly poor.

For the record, I'm the same way with phone calls.

Don't you think the poll thing has more to do with age and disgust with the system - the political climate as a whole? I"d bet many voters just don't bother with primaries because we are really voting against a candidate - there is no one we do want - just more of the same old drivel. I'd guess Trump "supporters" want nothing to do with the political system except to deny mainstream candidates - maybe of either party.

I sure as hell didn't believe Romney would defeat Barak, and no Republican I talked to believed Romney had a chance in hell of winning. He was a weak candidate and ran a weak campaign. It was as if Romney wanted to intentionally lose.

CNN doing a full interview with the clown who tried to rush Trump in Cleveland, and touting him as some sort of hero shows how far gone this country is. Sad that we've fallen this far in only 8 years time.

What was his reason for jumping the fence?

If that is the case you were not hanging out in the VN politics forum in 2012. :)

Trumps life will be taken. Causing chaos. Obama has already signed the EO previous to this (4 days ago) that will allow the UN to bring troops in to assist our troops

Trump is not part of the NWO plan....

Supposedly that is what the Cuba treaties was over. They can have 250,000 troops here in 6 hours.

There is a lot more to it.....but.....

I’ll counter this conspiracy theory with there’s a group, I’ll stop short of labeling them “war mongers” consisting of intelligence, military and industry leaders they and their ilk will protect their golden boy

To somewhat paraphrase Pete, "meet the new thread same as the old thread"

But is it necessary to lock the old thread?

The left has been hijacked and is now ruled by far left hacks and socialists. They used to believe is free speech, now anytime anyone comes to their communist universities they shout them down and silence them. Electing a socialist community organizer wasnt enough for them, they continue to be unhinged. They are a disgusting group of people.
