Since when is that a crime? I've seen people I don't know strolling around the neighborhood in hoodies. It never occurred to me to start a fight with them.

DOJ Asks Civil Rights Groups, General Public for 'Tips' on Zimmerman

On Monday afternoon, the US Department of Justice appealed to civil rights groups and the general public across the country for “tips” on George Zimmerman in their pursuit of potential federal civil rights charges against the just-acquitted defendant in the Trayvon Martin killing. The DOJ actually went so far as to set up an e-mail address to allow such tips: Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov. The email address is slated to go operational by the end of the week.

Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law told the Orlando Sentinel that the DOJ had held a Monday conference call “calling on us to actively refer anyone who had any information” that would help build a case against Zimmerman. "They said they would very aggressively investigate this case,” Arnwine stated.

So, you really haven't followed the trial at all then. You just make crap up as you go along? The guy walking in the neighborhood that had had SEVERAL robberies and didn't belong there started the fight, not the guy that was trying to lead the cops to him. Do you live in a gated (i.e. limited access) neighborhood?

Was any evidence made public during the trial that actually proved a racist mindset? I don't remember seeing anything.

I don't mean the fabricated "what I think happened" scenarios that many are basing their hatred on. Zimmerman started the fight, Zimmerman was trying to detain him, Zimmerman did it only cause Martin was black, Zimmerman was a gay rapist.....

I mean actual real proof. Listening to the radio and on tv, nearly all the people that think Zimmerman should have been found guilty are basing their opinions on speculation of what might have happened, but they're acting as if it's fact.

Truly ludicrous.

SIAP: An inconvenient truth - the case of Roderick Scott: In 2009 a black large adult shot a 17 yo white kid who Scott said charged him after Scott confronted the teen and 2 others for allegedly breaking into a car. Two witnesses (the other alleged car thieves) testified that the victim did not charge him and instead had his hands up.

Guess this answers the question about "what if Travyon was white and GZ was black"

I just can't understand the motivation (well, I guess that's not really true). Isn't the FBI an arm of the DoJ and already finished their investigation? I guess it's like any good magic trick and we should be watching the other hand

It's in this admin's DNA - remember the tip line for reporting people that were "lying" about Obama during the campaign? Call in and report your neighbors "inaccurate" comments. There were a couple other as well. It's always about asking the public to turn someone in for wrong thoughts.

Yea right. They love them because they tell them what they wanna hear. Black suffrage is all due to the white man. It's not because of blacks commiting 90% of the crimes or because they are killing off each other in gangs & drug wars or that black unemployment is due to the white man not the fact a lot find it easier to sit on their ass & collect Obama money & endless benefits.
