Very slim chance unless the jurors just go in there and say why were we even here with the evidence supporting Zimmerman in virtually everything.

SIAP but this is all you need to know about the case the state brought forward. This was a part of their closing arguments yesterday in regards to Rachel Jeantel.

I don't know if I agree. If they get the case say at 3 p.m., jury might say they are willing to keep working and you could see something tonight so they could go home. They might also come in tomorrow if they felt like they were close.

I could see that happening. I was on a jury a couple of months ago and it took us about two hours to convict.

I'd like to get your take on the judge's behavior. Questioning Zimmerman on his right to testify, or refuse to do so, at this point in the trial seems to be out of line. I think that's going to be something that comes back to haunt the state on appeal in the unlikely event he's convicted.

Well - a good job at wasting everybody's time. This guy has gone over this, that, whatever, but not one time has he pointed to something substantive and related to the charges or self defense.

If I was sitting on that jury listening to the prosecution, the following would be going through my head:

So? So what? Yeah, well, so? Ok - big deal. Yeah, we know that - so where are you going? Huh? Yeah, agreed - now how do you tie that into the charges? What? Etc. etc...etc...
