Zimmerman Trial

If GZ is convicted of anything no one in FL will ever be safe from prosecution while defending their selves.

No one will be safe from anything. The state has clearly shown they are willing to employ people who come into cases with horrible biases. They've given a giant "f*** you" to burden of proof and innocence until proven guilty.

It does make the state look bad. It would be a travesty for the jury to come back with a guilty verdict.

You have to be kidding.

The state should never have brought charges when they knew their witnesses were liars.

Worse is the state should be held with treason for coaching them to lie...especially bao
.
I hate that *****

3rd degree has no bearing in the case and it springed on the defense last moment despite it being well written with case precedents in the prosecution's jury instructions. In other words, they intentionally surprised the defense about this last second.

The prosecution should not be allowed to have overlapping options. They tried this as a second degree murder case. Everything which incorporates second degree murder should be off the table; 3rd degree, manslaughter, aggravated assault, etc should be thrown out. It is BS to try one thing and let the jury convict on another.

It's a deliberate abuse of a person's rights is what it is.

State is now trying to save face and obviously the Judge is doing the same. It's unfortunate but the Judge knows she'd be destroyed/threatened unmercifully if she only let the 2nd Murder charge be the single charge allowed.

Not only is it BS, its unconstitutional and should be criminal

So they are allowed to throw it all against the wall and see what sticks?

Apparently.

I'm infuriated. Now I understand why this case is important- it's gone from a regular murder trial to a statement on the rampant abuses of our government and its corrupt cronies.
