I'm late coming back to this party, but watching the video and looking at the State's crime scene map, the confrontation happened maybe 120 feet from the street. Not even close to the 'hundreds' of feet Keith keeps harping on. It's less than half a football field.

I would hope my loved one would be smart enough to go directly home if they felt threatened instead of turning back. However if they did choose to confront someone I would hope they are able to properly voice their decision without resorting to punching the person first

TM should have said whats up? Talk to him and ask why he's following him. Not just jump him. I can't tell you how many times I thought someone was following me in a downtown area. I stopped and greeted the man. Guy was just checking to see if I was doing in that certain area. I explained my business and that was that.
