Zimmerman Trial

So in your opinion, I as a woman. If I killed a man who attacked me, I then should be convicted of murder? From a moral standpoint of course.

That's not what I said, and that isn't what happened in my opinion - based on what I heard. But I appreciate the honest discussion, seriously.

So your morals consist of being able to go around & beat the s*** out if people you "think" is following you while you yourself does drugs, flash gang signs, swaps guns with parents, etc etc. It is a tragic situation that could have been avoided on both sides but it is what it is. Concealed weapon permits are available for a reason.

Don't forget about stealing women's jewelry from lockers.

That's not what I said, and that isn't what happened in my opinion - based on what I heard. But I appreciate the honest discussion, seriously.

Trayvon was beating Zimmerman's head against the concrete, the evidence supported this irrefutably. Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman when he was shot, proving Zimmerman's testimony that he was defending himself.

So what exactly did you hear then?

Let's keep the whole racial issue out of this people. Literally should have nothing to do with it.

Someone lost their son, and they no longer have him because he was shot and killed by another human.

Whether or not you believe that human deserves any sort of punishment for what he did - is up to you. Today the court said he should walk free, and I completely disagree from a moral standpoint.
This thing wouldn't have even been news if it wasn't for the race baiting of the family attorney, Mr. Benjamin Crump.

This trial is only news because of race.

White Hispanic? Give me a break.

Poor little Trayvon pictured at 12? Give me a break.

The media whored this whole mess and we watched it transfixed as a nation.

Pathetic.

As far as your "moral standing":

Guess you would prefer that you died instead of the guy that was beating your brains in.

I can understand the verdict, but I strongly believe the law needs to be fixed. It is legal in Florida to stalk innocent people until they confront you, then kill them in self defense. Sad day in America.

That is what neighborhood watch people do. It's not stalking. Great day in America, and a message sent to criminals in Florida.

My 17 year old daughter would have ran if a man was following her. Not confront him and beat his ass. Just saying. But she ain't gangsta.

But I raised her better.

lord a mercy. take the emotion out and look at the facts people.

there was no physical evidence. the prosecution was shooting for the stars. he was guilty of aggravated assualt.

the jury system is set up to be unbiased. it was a doomed case for prosecutors from get go. they made it into a race fiasco. when clearly it was just a florida fubar.

i feel for trayvon's family. i empathize. i feel for zimmerman too. he'll never be the same.

we each have a right to a fair trial by a jury of our peers. if u want to blame someone blame lawmakers for allowing someone to own a personal sidearm to act unethically and immorally, who gives gun ownership..specifally those who own guns in a responsible fashion a bad name. its a nationwide issue that we live with day in and out with 0 resolution again. we'll see this played out tommorow. sadly.
