you dont have a point youre making false equivalencies. ZZs situation is nothing like the 2 you named (covid years). The thing is its not about ZZ its about the case. Also the fact his request for a temporary injunction does not necessarily mean he will lose but it does not bode well. Normally in a case where they think its highly likely they will win the judge would give the injunction to prevent irreparable losses. The problem is how wide-reaching the case he filed is. Wording matters and him winning the case as filed would open a Pandora's box. Also the other that have brought cases were all JC transfers. This is the big difference.. The Pavia case opened this box and him winning would open a bigger one.Once again completely ignoring my point
This is not operating in a vacuum everything here has a domino effect. Covid, NIL, Portal, House settlement, Pavia case. Al of htem have had a domino effect thats not always positive for some people. Basketball players are staying in college 4-5 years more and more. Those guys staying eats up spots that would have gone to a high schooler. In a lot of cases that spot would have bene some developmental guy but its important because the Scottie Pippens and Dennis Rodmans of the world likely never happen under this climate. The NCAA has a lot of terrible rules 4 to play 5 is way down there on the list if it even belongs. People with real situations have played 7-8 years. The average age of NBA draftees has skyrocketed. The young guys drafted in the NBA the last few years have been mostly overseas guys. Because the american kids are less desperate to make the jump. Caitlyn Clark give her 6-7 years she could have made significantly more than what she makes in the WNBA just sitting put for 2 more years. If she had stayed in college the WNBA would still be stuck in the stone age. Instead, they have progressed to medieval times, which is a lot for them.
Its not about how this affects UT and ZZ its about what the fallout is.
