Why does everyone think ZR is unathletic?
dude ran a 4.47 40
for comparison Randall Cobb ran a 4.46 at the nfl combine.

Rogers defeated Cobb in the high school state track meet 100 meter dash as well.

so my question is, what is the basis for calling him unathletic?

Calling him unathletic may be a stretch, but are you sure THIS is the comparison you want to make?

fast is a very big part of athletic. i know its not everything, but the people hating of rogers athleticism on this board is ridiculous when you look at the facts

The facts are he will never be an SEC caliber WR. I think that's what your fans are talking about bro.

He isn't unathletic.

He has two basic problems. First, he isn't durable. Second, he has "good" hands but not GREAT hands. D Rogers also has "good" hands... but he is just as athletic and much bigger.

Hunter is the football equivalent of a 5-tool baseball player. He has elite athleticism, runs good routes, excellent hands, great size, and blocks well. It will be a crying shame if he wastes that amount of talent on track.

Race has nothing to do with it man stop that **** everyone respects wes welker and jordan shipley race has nothing to do with it. You can train someone to run a 40 his game speed is more like a 5.0 40 time be honest watch that streak he ran against florida does he really look like he runs a 4.7. Cobb plays fast Z. Rogers doesnt. Game speed is totally different. You cant compar Cobbs game speed to Z. Rogers he isnt the player Cobb was no were near close. Face it I would rather have Milton on the field that will give us a chance that have Rogers on the field.

agreed. i just think people should know what theyre talking about instead of just saying "he's not athletic enough." rogers has his flaws, but i would say that his athleticism is actually his strength

I also hate when people say that people are hating on Z. Rogers athleticism sorry he has the least athleticism off all the receivers the only reason why he is on the field is because I feel he is a coaches pet.

Do NOT let jspvol76 see this, or it will be on.

You stated Z. Roger athleticism and compared him to Cobb I feel like that Milton deserves a true chance on the field he cant do any worst than Z. Rogers. With Z. Rogers on the field his GAME SPEED is so slow that Dbs can press up on our receivers. He changes the offensive scheme cause is lack of GAME TIME ATHLETICISM those measurble on a track with shorts and a T-shirt on doesnt mean anything.
