That explains why he blew a gasket with CLK's comment about his reprimands (over publically referring to the poor officiating), and suddenly decided to give himself more power than he previously had.Dead serious. Just looked up on the SEC website, and found out a little info on Slive. I see now why he thinks he so powerful......he was not only a lawyer, but an ex Judge. My experience is that Judge's think they are GODS.

I think CLK and Hamilton need to get on the horn with other coaches and AD's in the league, who have been affected by such egregious officiating, and confront Slive and let him know THEY run the show...he's just the central puppet...not the puppeteer.

the change was enacted with the consent of all the AD's in the SEC and the University Presidents approval too.
Slime can't do anything to the ADs or university presidents for not supporting his power grab. They are the ones who run the conference, and Slime works for them. A majority vote of the presidents can overrule Slime. The fact that they all approved tells me that they all support him, even the ones whose teams have been affected by blown calls. You're right. I do remember now that being said. But, I also remember thinking, 'what was the presidents and AD's supposed to do, say no'? Maybe face some sort of sanctions, or fines if they hadn't agreed.
