Italian and Czechoslovakian on my Dad's side. My last name can be traced back to the 16th century and includes some Italian royalty.

Hungarian and German on my Mom's.

I'm the second generation of my family born in the USA.

I am half French and half Welsh/English (I'm actually a desendant of the queen of England) I too have a weird complexion. Very fair and freckled in the winter but very tan and more freckled in the summer. Both looks are breath taking and Regal :birgits_giggle:

I'm a member of the Echota tribe....I was going to try to get money for school, but was able to fund my needs easier with scholarships than all the hoops you have to jump through to get those monies.

very true. On a side note I had a buddy who was 75% Seminole. He lived in Nashville and received a nice scholarship but walked away. He was the single most crazy person I have ever met in life. He was about 6'5" and weighed about 280. If you ever got him started on whiskey bad things happened always!

Absolutely! He got into a bar fight with a broken wrist from a fight a couple of weeks before, he still whooped this guy. We had a nickname for him, Chief Wahoo!

I worked with a fellow the was full blooded Mohawk several years ago, he was crazy too. Not as big as your buddy but he thought he was when he got to drinking. I think he is a policeman in NYC now.

I have Cherokee as well as Irish and German blood and i too have to be careful when drinking whiskey. My friends used to tell me they were afraid I would either scalp or box someone when I had a little too much. When I was younger We had quite a crew. Chief Wahoo and then there was Ogre and Dick, they were French Canadian, their father played hockey with the Bruins. We were involved in many a club being shut down for the night in Nashville.

In the words of Bill Murray...'I wanna party with you cowboy".... not really I'm getting too old for bar fights. Wiskey had bad effects on me too(ten ft tall and bulletproof)... beer on the other hand made jr everybodys friend.

Scottish heritage.

Without getting too deep, we took a family "pilgrimage" to Scotland when I was in high school. Went to Wemyss Castle, where the current Chief of the Name and Arms of Wemyss lives. Very nice fellow to take us on a short tour of his home and offer us some tea.

The family titles all belong to a different branch of the family (caused by a schism in which the eldest son died in the Jacobite rebellion of 1745 so the middle son took the titles, and the youngest son retained the castle). The current is the 12th Earl of Wemyss. He lives at Gosford House, which is actually even more impressive than Wemyss Castle.

The Earl was very old when we visited in the late 90s, and I would expect he has passed by now, but he did have a son who would become the 13th Earl. Again, The Earl was very gracious to take us on a prorated tour of his home. Much of which is empty with the furniture in storage, as only he and his wife were living there at the time... The most amazing part of the house is at the end where they were living, known as "The Marble Hall" made from some sort of rose marble. It was a great experience to be there.
