Apologies for length:
Been in Orlando since 1991 and I don't get to see the Vols play live often, so I was thrilled to see Tennessee down here during the 90's, and 2002. A large group of Vols and Gators get together every year now to watch the games. Unfortunately, I don't make the trip to Gainseville the way I used to.
Saw them play Florida several times in the swamp during the formative years of of our hatred for each other. And, at the Citrus Bowl for what turned out to be a pretty sweet run of games.
We were a damn good team and those bowl games were a lot of fun to watch despite the currently Overrated Ball-Cock's attempts at "spelling" humor.

Well.... okay.... this one wasn't much fun to watch. But, wouldn't it be sweet if the article writer's prediction is on target and we get a chance to correct that mistake?

I got to see Peyton twice that year, including this game and the game in Gainesville that we won't dwell on here. Also got to see Leonard Little! and Jay Graham! As well as some fumbler for "The" Ohio State, last name George.

Last time to see Peyton live... solid, fun game but I don't remember a great deal about it. I think a youtube Citrus Bowl binge is in store for the weekend.
EDIT: A little research to kick start the memories turned up Graham, Price, Kent and one of Manning's better College performances with 4 touchdowns. Definitely pulling up this online this weekend.

Made possible when the Vol's last, best shot at a national title run was mauled by the Tigers in the SEC championship. Still... absolutely loved watching the Wolverines get Orange crushed.
From a cherished gift standpoint, this game was tops for me. Friends of mine in the local media got my wife and I tix to the game. They trumped that gift with the one below that they received while on the job shooting the game. They gave it to me 7 months later as a Birthday present. Brought a tear of joy to my eye:
