Cry more. Not just no, but h*** no! Alabama 2022 yes. Florida 1998 season yes. This is not at that level. We should win. We expect to win. A Georgia win is not remotely close to either of those moments in Vol football history. Do not tear down the goalposts for Georgia! Do not storm! Respect the Vols! This is an expected win!
How is it not at least on par with Florida in 98? Just cause you say so? This losing streak is longer, UGA has had more success than Florida did, and whipped Tennessee worse than Florida did.Not just no, but h*** no! Alabama 2022 yes. Florida 1998 season yes. Maybe you just had to be there in 98 to understand the extreme disrespect the Vols were facing at the time. Post-Manning, the Gators were the pre-season anointed champions by the expert prognosticators. When the Vols won that game, there was a high possibility, a strong chance, that the Vols could win out the rest of the season. The ESPN disrespect was very real. ESPN was the voice of football at the time — there was no internet like today. Herbstreit had previously run a personal campaign for Charles Woodson to win the Heisman over Manning. Vols were crapped on and disrespected. Winning against the Gators and Darth Spurrier felt like Vols against the world. That win felt like no one could stop the Vols. I was there dancing on the field. There were handles of Jack Daniel’s getting passed around. There were real tears of joy. You just had to be there to know what it felt like then vs now.How is it not at least on par with Florida in 98? Just cause you say so? Go outside and enjoy yourself little one. Your spending way to much time in your room.I know this an inherent insult to say, but I live in the here and now.
Heupel is 0-4 against UGA as UTs coach.
Georgia has won 9 straight?? They’ve been the dominant program in all of college football imo the last 10 years.
They have a QB that can run and throw.
They have 2 of the most explosive players that ever suited up for Bishop Gorman and Mater Dei starting. Zach Branch and the RB.
Their line averages 6’6 330 and 3rd year.
Defense…
NB (5 star)
FS (5 star)
NT (5 Star)
ILB (5 star)
and bunch of other talented guys in their two deep. CJ Allen. Chris Cole. A bunch of dudes.
If we beat them then we should absolutely storm the field
They should win more than 1 in the last 9 and 3 of the last 16 if it happens this year. You and people like Dobbs4Heisman live in a fantasy world instead of the disgusting reality that is that series. There are fans that will storm the field, but they shouldn't. Winning games against teams like Georgia should be an expectation. We're not going to win all of them, but lining up against top-10 teams and winning our share should be the standard, and I'm sure even CJH would agree.
So if the win happens against UGA there's no chance this team will win out? Got it. And there are a number of threads on here about how the media is doing nothing but disrespecting this team. So which is it?Maybe you just had to be there in 98 to understand the extreme disrespect the Vols were facing at the time. No and hell no ! We have been relevant for several years now and have beaten Bama and Florida twice. We have been in the top ten off and on since 2022. Bama has been the big dawg in the SEC for over a decade. So I get it. Georgia is a good program but not Bama quality therefore not worthy of a field storming since they have come off the mountain top for the last several seasons. Also storming the field destroys the turf as dumbasses unintentionally or intentionally dig it up. Makes it dangerous as new turf is installed and has not had time to root in causing potential ankle and knee injuries to players the rest of the season. We aren’t Miss. St or Vandy ! We are a historically storied program. Want to celebrate a big win ? Go to a bar or throw a party or jump in the f—king river instead of destroying property. Stupid !!!I know this an inherent insult to say, but I live in the here and now.

If you didn’t get invited to the party, then don’t cry about not being a part of it.No and hell no ! We have been relevant for several years now and have beaten Bama and Florida twice.
