Yemi and washpun showed more potential than half of Martins recruits.
Washpun had great athleticism and yemi had size. Martin has recruited guys with absolutely 0 distinguishing characteristics.
Usain Bolt has great athleticism, doesn't mean he would make a good basketball player.
And wait let me get this right, you're gonna pump up Yemi because he had size, yet bash Ndiaye, because he has MORE size than Yemi? Ok got it, you've clearly got an agenda.
And you still.......haven't answered my question?
I understand you're trying to make a point right now, but I disagree. Lopez isn't very fast or athletic, his ball handling is alright and shows no real offensive game (for d1 ball atleast). Lopez's defense is about is good as Skylar McBee's - a lot of hussle. Wes Washpun was fast, athletic and showed he had offensive game. Washpun's defensive game was slow. All in all, I think washpun is the clear better choice.Lopez>Washpun
Offensive potential* He averaged 18 points per game in high school and barely got any playing time as a PG at TN, I feel like he was just in a bad environment for his character.Huh? Offensive game? Are we thinking of the same guy? Highest point total last year was 3 points!!! Shot 28% from the field, 50% from the line, and 0% from 3...if that's offensive game then skylar Mcbee is the next pistol Pete.

As for Yemi, maybe he wanted to transfer and find better player opportunities. I couldn't see him getting forced out by our staff. If we knew he wanted to transfer it makes since to get a JUCO big with some experience.

Haha. Where have you been BasketvolsFan? I don't see you post much anymore. Are you excited about 2013-14?
Just don't have enough time anymore. Yes, if Stokes returns, I think next year can be a very good year. With the incoming talent and the talent returning, there is no reason why we can't contend for the SEC regular season championship. Notice, I didn't include the SEC tournament as we never play well there regardless of talent or regular season success.
