Is this for real or is that an estimate and you'll just get it when you get it? It says prior to pre-ordering "order now and we'll deliver when available". I'd order one, but I don't want to pay $500 now and be stuck waiting for one till January or whenever Amazon has enough to full their pre-orders.

You don't pay until they ship it. You can cancel at anytime. I want to make sure I get one on opening day.

So you don't actually pay when you pre-order? I got to the point where it said I owed $504 and showed my credit card info, and then didn't go any farther.

I think I'll be going PS4 this round. My brother will get an Xbox One so I can play the handful of games I want to play on Xbox if I want.

I'm getting it, the array of games seems better to me and I like the t.v part of it to (very useful so I don't have to unplug hdmi cables). Also I can never use a Playstation controller, they are too little for me.

No online requirements. No charge for used games. And it's $100 dollars cheaper at launch?

Sony will dominate this generation of consoles. Book it. #xboxdone

Online requirement does not brother me. 99% of the time I have wanted to play, the internet has been there for me. I do not buy used game. I normally buy on release for the games I want, and have been given one game since the release of the 360. Mason gave me a Tiger Woods game LOL. $100 cheaper is nice but I still prefer the Xbox first from what I saw. I am not saying either one is better than the other. I will still get a PS4 later on.

Online requirement does not bother me either. But think about how many people there are that trade in games once finished with them, all the people with a Gamefly account, or the folks who only buy used or discounted games. That is a lot of customers Xbox just completely left out in the cold and Sony still has a trump card to play by being $100 cheaper at launch.

Online requirements don't bother you? I bet they will the first time Live goes down and you get locked out of playing the games you've purchased. I bet you will the first time that one time use code you get when purchasing a game doesn't work pr the content isn't up yet. What about in 10+ years when the servers are shut off and you can't authenticate that disc-based game anymore and play it?

LMAO. Ok, if the 1% happens and it does go down... This maybe shocking, I will do something else, maybe even go outside and wait for the internet to come back on. If in 10+ years that does happen. I will be buying the Xbox TWO and the PS5.

I am not defending what one console is doing over the other, and yes I could careless. I am just buying the Xbox first.
