Xbox One

I think he's been pretty clear that it doesn't bother him......no reason to go on another rant about it

I just don't see how anyone could support this at this point, especially considering the competition now. We still don't even have all the facts because they've opted to keep everyone in the dark/don't know what they're doing. It's just being a poor consumer at this point if you're willing to throw money at this thing.

Smoke said suck it biatches I'm buying what I want to buy.

Basically yes. I may even waste money on another TV, so when my internet goes down. I will set down my Xbox controller and pickup my PS controller and keep playing another game while I wait.

I will be going with the PS4 this time around, but I can certainly understand some wanting to go with the XBone. The multimedia and other integration with te Xbone looks to far exceed with Sony is doing and for some, that's very important to them. Plus the kinect is included in that 499 price while there isn't a camera included with the PS4. I still think the PS4 will dominate and I think Sonys focus is more to the gamers rather than families, but I still think the Xbone is perfect for a certain customer.

Microsoft is acting the same way Sony did with the PS3 that made them have such a slow start out of the gate. Except they probably won't catch up.

Agree. My plans are to put the Xbox in the family room for all three of us. Liberty is at the age where she is starting to enjoy the kinect now. Plus we can take advantage of the other features as well. The wifey is all about TV and one box ONLY in that room with minimum cables. The PS4 will go in my office/cave for my use.

Paid in full for both systems. Truthfully, if the XBOX One blows me away, the PS4 will get sold without ever getting opened. On the other hand, I'm not dealing with another RROD-type situation with MS either.

Curious where you were able to "pay in full"

It might not bother you but for many hardcore gamers this is the reason they will be opting for PS4 over the Xbox for this generation console. As a 360 owner myself I will not be buying the new Xbox. If you want to own both that's certainly your prerogative.

Agree. If you are a hardcore gamer, the PS4 currently is the way to go. Things may or may not change. I once was a hardcore gamer but life has since changed. I am now 2 to 3 definite buys a year dusted in with a few "that looks like a good game" buys a year.

I like the Xbox One doing the whole entertainment thing. It has cool features and I will eventually buy one for certain games but I will have no use for the "xbox switch to skype, xbox watch tv". I think these are cool but I will not use for them.

I say "pay in full" as opposed to putting a deposit down. Bought them both on Amazon and they have charged my card for the full amounts. They have ended the Day One Xbox sales already, so I'm feeling good that they have a handle on how many they will be getting and I'm not going to get stuck on a waiting list or some nonsense.

I have never had Amazon ever charge my card for a pre-order until it was shipped (and I bet I've pre-ordered over a 100 things with them). I even pre-ordered 2 PS4s last night, and no charge on my card. Why would they charge yours?

Preauthorization, perhaps? Its not reflecting in my balance currently. I'd rather it be paid and not worry later.

I was just making sure I didn't miss anything. I didn't want $800 to come out of my bank account today. It would be a hard story to tell my wife I paid for 2 PS4s instead of the mortgage this month.

I guess we'll both be fine. I don't know if it was because I used a new credit card for the first time or not. Here's some sort of proof that I'm not completely FOS. Would be a silly thing to lie about :p
