Xbox One

I was just about to ask how the others were. Hope the next one will be great.

GT4 came out on PS2. Don't get me wrong it was great but it was basically more of the same from A-Spec.

GT5 on PS3 was OK but the menu system was cluttered and confusing as hell. Plus I hated the fact they included 'standard' and 'premium' cars which meant you had 2 sets of cars with completely different graphical fidelity. The standard cars weren't as detailed as the premium cars and there was no cockpit detail at all. If you raced inside the cockpit on standard cars, everything was a black shadow. I guess that's what happens when you try to include 1,200 cars in a game. I wish Polyphony would've completely axed the standard cars and only included the premiums. Sure the car total would've been smaller but at least the game would have been more balanced. The premium cars on GT5 and 6 are IMO still unrivaled on any racing game I've seen, last gen or this gen. Track and shadow detail also suffered on GT5 because Polyphony poured so many resources into making the premium cars look so good, a lot of the track textures and shadows were of poor quality. GT6 saw a huge improvment in this area once Polyphony got to better grips with the PS3 architecture.

GT6 was a huge improvement over GT5 and had it not released at the same time the PS4 came out I probably would have bought it and enjoyed it quite a bit. However I was ready to move on to the next generation. It still had the crappy standard cars but other than that it was a great game. I rented it for a weekend and actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

Another issue with Gran Turismo is that Polyphony has fallen behind the competition in terms of certain features that had become standard on other racing games like car customization, damage, etc.

The Crackdown games are fun, though the first is better.

The non-Master Chief Halos (ODST and Reach); if you didn't get The Master Chief Collection, add Halo 3 and Halo Anniversary Edition.

Alan Wake.

Left 4 Dead and L4D2.

I have the Master Chief collection

I'll probably pick up the other Halo's. I'll probably pick up Red Dead Redemption as well. I never played it that much when I had it for PS3. It was one of those games that got lost in the shuffle.

Red Dead was an amazing game, I'm really hoping for a prequel to it, in the golden age of the gunfighter as opposed to the end

If you ever want to play them online, you'll have to pick up the other Halos for 360. God knows they're never going to get matchmaking working on MCC.

So for the 360 I've bought:

South Park: The Stick of Truth
Gears of War 1, 2, & 3
Gears of War: Judgement
Forza 4
Halo Reach
Halo 3: ODST
MXGP 14
Birds of Steel
