Xbox One

I have the Kinect and rarely use it. I don't have my cable hooked up to my xbox because something just doesn't seem right about leaving it turned on constantly.

The controller for XBone is junk. I've had my Xbox for about 8 months and already had to replace the controller because the stupid left stick drifting. My 360 controller that came with my white 360 a long ass time ago still works perfectly. Microsoft will fix it but you have to pay for shipping and of course it takes months and months. Im also starting to have problems with by disc reader. Sometimes when I put a disc in it makes really strange noises and wont read the disc. I have to eject and re-insert the disc. Sometimes I have to do this 5 or 6 times before it will read the disc.

Im just really starting to feel nervous about the longevity of the system.

That's strange. My experience has pretty much been the opposite. My Xbox One controller is still working perfectly after over a year, but I remember going through controllers like crazy on the 360 with the same left stick drift you're talking about. Six months always felt like a good run with them before I had to go buy a new one. I'm glad you mentioned MS fixing them though. It never once crossed my mind that they might repair a controller, I just always bought another one.

I've got my cable run through the Xbox One, and haven't had any issues with leaving it on for the extended periods of time so far.

I've had issues with every PS4 controller I've owned. The R2 trigger sticks on all of them. And various other buttons have a "stuck" feel to them. Haven't come across any issues with my X1 controllers although I can't stand the feel of the joysticks.

I'm still on my release day ps4 controller with no issues. My 360 controllers generally would have something go to crap in 4-6 months

Ha! I won't buy it unless there are a lot more tracks. Love 5 but got bored after a few weeks racing on the same tracks.

Yep. I had the same experience with 5. Not only does it need more tracks, it needs more variety in terms of modes of play. I didn't realize how spoiled I had gotten with GT5 and 6 having rally cars/tracks, go karts/tracks, Stock cars/tracks, etc along with all of the standard cars and tracks. Hell 6 even had Lunar module races LOL. I hope Forza 6 will incorporate more variety like that.

This! Forza 5 was the first for the series; a disappointment.

Have you ever thought about using a disc cleaner that comes from Maxell. I've had problems before when the playstation2 wouldn't read my game disc. I inserted the cleaning disc & after 10 seconds of cleaning the inside laser light I was back to playing my game. Just a thought this might help your problem.
