I prefer black but I'm also weird that I like all my consoles to be the same color.

Right now the only console I own that's not black is my original Wii.

I don't know man. Of the 3 consoles the Xbone is by far the ugliest design. It looks like a 1980's VCR. I sort of like the fact that the black casing makes it "disappear" in my entertainment center. Having a white one would only make it stand out like a sore thumb.

Xbox engineer discussing some features that will be added in the next couple of months...

-More social features, such as the Friends section on dashboard that was mentioned in August Update preview video and also the addition of Messages being added to Snap mode and "Snap Center".

-Smart Glass will soon be able to stream your tv cable signal to your iOS, Android, or Windows device while you play your game. This is way cool.

-FINALLY....multimedia support will be added within the next couple of months. Personal videos, music, photos will be supported from USB/external HDD with a lot more file support than the 360 had.

-Also, at Gamescom they announced the much-needed addition of Pre-loading/Preordering for digital games. Starts on September 28 with Forza Horizon 2 and FIFA 15.

Anyone having issues with the latest update. Mine started updating last night around 1 AM (flashing light on the console indicated update), and as of this moment it's still flashing.

Zero issues, I would make stop it and try again.

Well I couldn't turn it on, the front just kept flashing. So I had to unplug it and plug it back in. Now it's working fine and it apparently installed the update, so it seems like it got hung up trying to wrap up the install or something.

All I want is something similar to folders or even the drop down they use for video apps. And I want login notifications. How hard is that to make happen?

Add those two much-needed features and I'm perfectly fine if nothing else is added. I bought a gaming system for games...not all these fancy features. Although really nice, it's not something I have to have.

I haven't had any problems so far knock on wood. My 360 broke the first day I got it.

The way the console is structured it seems anti-overheating. May be ugly but it'll be built to last.

I like simple and fast. The whole split screen concept is clunky and slow. Everything is harder to do on XB1 IMO. I wouldn't mind folders but apart from that I hope they keep it simple.
