Xbox One

The One controller is a little bigger. I don't like what they did to the Bumper Pads.

I got a PS4 stored up for my sons for Xmas. I will give it a try and see.

Honestly, I loved the 360 controller but I adjusted more quickly to the PS4 controller than the Xbox One. I can't put my finger on it exactly, and I may prefer the One controller more over time.

I honestly have no idea why Microsoft messed with the Controller design to begin with. The 360 design imo is up there with the SNES and Dreamcast as far as comfort and feel goes.

The one change they should have made and didn't was the Battery Pack. I liked the fact that the PS3 Controller Battery was built in.

Some people sit far from the television and can't use a charging cable. I actually like the fact that I can pop in fresh batteries in the Xbox controller any time.

It also seems like the battery life on this generation of Sony's controller is a bit worse.

Exactly my thoughts. A pack of rechargeable AA's and you're good to go.

I hooked up my cable to the Xbox. Really like the feature. However, it isn't picking up all of my channels for some reason. And the guide is off on which channel is which. I have AT&T Uverse by the way.

I'm really pissed off at Microsoft over the audio issues and lack of a compatible headset or chat adapter. More money-grubbing proprietary BS from these morons. They seem to like to make life more difficult on the consumer rather than easier. If I had it to do over again, and didn't have friends on Xbox One already, I would have stuck with the PS4 and held off on the Xbox until later. I'm sure it will be a fine system, but the audio issues and disappointing launch exclusives are beyond inexcusable. No to mention the controller has issues and the new menus are clunky and confusing.

Anyone agree or disagree?

wow, most fired up post, I've read from you in a while
like running out of Hotdogs :)

I have a family member looking for an Xbox One. Which Target? Did they have more?

Sorry for the delayed response. I got one at the Target next to East Town Mall, they just had 4 and I got the 3rd one, so I assume they are gone. The new one on Northshore had some but they wouldn't sell one to me, they might of been held pre-orders.

That's the only reason I have a Xb1 instead of a ps4. I started playing online with some friends a couple years ago. They're xbox fanboys. When I brought up the idea us getting a ps4 instead they acted like I was insulting their mother. Playing online COD and BF with them was a majority of my gaming, so I just stuck with xbox. Nothing against ps4. I've had every ps console before the ps4 and have been perfectly happy with them.

Friends is actually the best reason to choose one system over the other. Either system.

My same reasoning. All of my friends had a 360. I will probably buy a PS4 later on down the road.

Well I think I will go with Forza first and then DR3 later on. I have read into both games the last few days, and Forza seems to have added some neat features, plus it has better replay-value versus DR3.

I know the XboxOne herd is thin here, but does anyone here have Forza already?

For anyone who has their cable box wired up through the XBone, have any of you had any issues with the audio constantly cutting out. Mine does on certain channels, most noticeably on Fox and ESPN, but I'm 90% sure it's my crappy surround sound system. It's always had this audio cutout when I don't have it set to Dolby Digital, and since Xbox One doesn't support that on the passthrough, obviously I can't switch it to that mode. I only ask because I wanted to see if anyone else with a different surround sound system had one that was functioning properly before I go out and spend several hundred dollars that I can't get back only to have the same problem.

No issues here. My problems deal with channels being missing on the guide and channels not matching up correctly (like CBS and NBC).

Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure other people's was working fine before I went out and bought another surround sound system. It's as if someone is constantly muting and unmuting my sound while I'm watching TV. The lesson to be learned here, the $99 surround sound system at Wal-Mart is probably a waste of money.

Did you try resetting the whole connection from the cable to Xbox? Also it could be the hdmi cable. I know some people are having problems with their hdmi cables. If it's a cheapo cable that could be it.

That's not it. After some research, the audio problem is fairly common in the system I have. It was there when in first bought it before I knew what setting to put it on to avoid it, and it's back now that the XBone doesn't offer me the option not to use the settings that cause the issue. Again, the lesson here is that the $99 RCA surround sound at Wal-Mart is a piece of ****.

Got it, seems like I like 4 better. But that could change after more than just 3 hours playing I guess

The Drivatar brings a new element into the game that I really like. It basically feels like you are playing against real players through out your career. That is a lot better than the stock AI that was in previous versions.
