You did. Also $60 startup fee. Not sure why they don't have PPV pre-95 tho. Once upon a time I would've been all over this, but the current product has killed my interest beyond that.

I didn't read anything about a $60 startup fee. There is a 6 month commitment required to join. That is just to keep people from joining for mania and then canceling.

If you buy wrestling ppv's, this is a great deal. I bought mania and summerslam last year. The wwe network for the entire year and all the ppv's is the same price I spent on those 2 ppv.

I'm highly intrigued by what they're doing.

Like you said, if you just buy the Big 4 PPVs, you're already saving a good chunk.

Its the way "TV" is headed anyway, so...you know..."If you don't like it, you better learn to love it..."

My problem with it is that there isn't a good way for me to stream it. I don't want to watch it on a small screen like my phone or CPU, and they don't have it available for Xbox one on launch.

It is a fantastic deal though. Every ppv and all of the vault access for the cost of 2 ppvs? Really smart move IMO.

Roku or Apple TV are both less than $100.

The Masked Man on Grantland broke down how much Vince negotiated to get per episode of Raw, its like the highest $ per hour of content for any "sport." I can only imagine how much money this is going to make them. For all the things he's done that are shady, Vince is most certainly one of the best in entertainment at making money for his company/self.

If the subscriber base gets large enough, I'd be surprised if they don't leverage their way into a cable network.

I actually think this is the first step away from that. Keep all the money in house and 100% control.

With the number of cord cutters increasing every day being the primary reason for that.

WWE, I am just not a fan of this PG era that we have now, to me wrestling needs that edge of what it was in 96-01. I havent watched WWE in many years dating back to 2008, i just hope HHH gives it some spunk again.....its boring now and they have all the talent to do some very interesting stories! All in all, its never goin to be the same so for me Ill continue to watch Independent wrestling.
I am an indy wrestler, look me up on facebook....DANTE HP!

There are no chracters in wwe today besides the Wyatt Fam. I mean you dont see wrestlers like Taker Kane StoneCold DX Mankind Chainsaw Charlie.....theres a whole slew of them and they had Backstories to that chracter like The undertaker n Kane!! That is one story if theyd have kept it and ran it longer OMG would have been amazing, then think TLC Dudleys Hardys E&C you will never ever see that kinda stuff again.

WWE needs some spice i give it a 4/10 now days, Heres to hoping HHH will give the fans some Attitude again someday!

You don't have to like it. You don't have to love it. But you better learn to live with it 'cause it's the best thing going today. Woooooooo!

Kids don't buy into the "mysticism" or "make believe" aspects really anymore. Every character is either just a real person or a caricature of a type of person, even the wyatts don't have magic, they're just a crazy cult. This is the "reality" era as they are calling it, and some of it I enjoy greatly (CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are two of the best wrestlers/entertainers you will see in any generation). With the return of Batista soon I'm hoping that it ushers in a bit more maturity as well though, or at least more violence.

like the power of the urn or the power of Super Hulk, or whatever it was called when literally no hit did any damage?

I certainly hope not. Those risks are unnecessary.

You sir have no idea what your talking about. Its professional wrestling, those risk do need to be taking ask any fan if they Like the TLC and i bet they say yes!

Mick foley got big by taking those risk as did ECW stars and TLC is what made the dudleys hardys and E&C

Personally, I think if you want TLC and blood in every other match, go watch crappy indies on YouTube. It should be about the stories; not a freak show.
