I'm not gonna lie. I was impressed by Rollins in that match. Daniel Bryan, IMO, is the best technical wrestler in the WWE right now (Though you could easily argue Punk, Ziggler, and Jericho when he's around as well) when it comes to different moves they can or can't do, and rollins hung with him most of the night.

But, another week down and Bray Wyatt is still creepy as hell, so its a win no matter what.

I am honestly curious how much of the Wyatt stuff is Rotunda just being great at what he does. I feel like they probably give him a very long leash and say "as long as you hit _______ and _________ in your promo, everything else is up to you" and he just goes for it

From what I understand the character is his own creation. He started doing it when they sent him back down to FCW.

He's borrowing from the "Waylon Mercy" character from way back, which in itself is a take off the main character from Cape Fear. But the cult leader aspect, costume and general theatrical creepiness are all from him.

what sucks is that this bit can only go on for so long...the only way I see it surviving is by going away from it for a couple years, then going back to it (a la Taker and the American Badass time)

Pretty good Rhodes/Orton match.

As soon as i say that, it has a terrible ending

I'd wager he is being "fired" so he can get married and have a honeymoon, only to be reinstated at a later date to have a great comeback.

However... Bray Wyatt is still creepy. but I am sick of the beat up on Daniel Bryan ****. I'm ready for the obvious Big Show, Mark henry, Bryan, and a few others vs the Shield and Orton events.

I'm even hearing a few rumors that we're gonna get a Stone Cold return vs HHH at Wrestlemania to fully cement the corporate vs rebels thing.

Yeah, you're right about the Rhodes thing. It was a good match with a bad ending though.

The Bray Wyatt story is the only thing keeping me watching. A crying Show being worked over by a Momma Bear type Stephanie McMahon was nothing short cringe worthy. It was painfully bad and forced me to turn it off and go to bed. I didn't have to know that he would eventually hit him and then Orton would come out. Only surprise was he didn't somehow manage to hit an RKO.

Just two months ago the WWE had interest in the US belt, the tag team belts and even the IC belt. Axel and Ambrose don't even fight with the belt on the line. Have Rollins and Reigns even defended the belt yet? It's just ridiculous. And, much like they did with the heel Punk, the "face of the company" is one of the best in ring performers in all of WWE, but he's relegated to mop up duty after others have beaten Bryan up. I just don't get it.

Read the AKATheMaskedMan column about this on Grantland. Makes some good points.

pretty good read and I get what he's saying about villains being respected yet booed. Sledge Hammer HHH was probably the best villain ever of this type. I just don't think the idea should be that they go so over the top that it causes me to just quit watching. Maybe I'm the minority, maybe everyone else did keep watching.

I agree 100%.

The Big show thing is just a disgrace to wrestling IMO. I will also add that the Axel and Punk story could be used to add hype to the IC belt, instead, you wouldn't even know it's there if Axel didn't walk around with it ovre his shoulder. It makes no sense to me what they trying to do with most of their storylines now days.

I was referring more to his opinion that the WWE is getting the most heat they've gotten in quite sometime and they're doing it by feeding the fans' preconceptions about Randy Orton (he doesn't do anything, has no personality, has everything handed to him because of looks/name), HHH (he likes to talk, run things, and keep his thumb on certain performers), Vince and Steph (generally meddlesome) and in doing this they're really putting the screws to the fan favorite. If they play it right, this could be a great way to turn Cena heel once he gets healthy. Keep this playing out for a while, Bryan is getting jumped by Orton and the Shield, here comes Cena to save the day, Orton and the Shield clear the ring, Cena takes out Bryan. For all the young Cena fans, this would be akin to Hogan joining the NWO.

I like that.

Today i bought the Best of Madison Square Garden WWE dvd. Im watching the Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon ladder match. One of the best matches I've ever seen, even after all these years.

I think they defended the titles against the Usos at summer slam, in a pre PPV match (or it might've been the PPV before that) and they did so well its what started to push the Usos a bit.

Also, not sure how I feel about them trying to make the PTP over. We all know its because Darren Young came out, but I feel like they could've done this anyway before considering they were actually really good athletes since the beginning.

His King of the Jungle promo is one of the best promos in some time. I have not seen this weeks stuff yet, been working hour shifts for a week now, but I wish Bray would use lyrics in his promos like he did in NXT. Which if you're not watching NXT, start watching NXT O'le.

Brie Bella as rainbow Brite in HD is much better than the internet feed version. Longest stretch I've been able to keep RAW on.
